17 reviews for Henryetta Inn & Dome, Henryetta
great with kids and pets
By UsCampbells, 11/27/09
I was there last week. We made reservations at the hotel across the street because of all the bad reviews about henryetta inn. They said that they accepted pets but when we got there they said NO.So we went to the dome. They gave us a room, pets and all. We had a blast! My kids loved the indoor pool and the air hockey table. My husband and I loved the hot tub, playing pool in the lounge and we All loved room service. That was a treat! I shouldn't have listened to all these reviews and found out for myself in the first place. We could've missed out on a really great family treat!

FUN & RELAXING!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/09
Lots to do here, we had so much fun! Great homestyle food in the restaurant, we had a blast in the bar and the rooms are very cozy. We were able to relax in the hot tub while the kids swam in the pool and they also have a workout area. We had a wonderful time. the only thing i would have to say is that it could use a little updating.

I am ashamed to learn that this nasty hotel is where we have our National Guardsman stay on their Drill weekend.

Plan to call the State Health Dept on this one.
By Nicholas, 01/29/09
This place was absolutly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Got stuck in an ice storm and had to stay in Henryetta. After checking in and visiting the room I thought about braving the roads instead of staying but just then they closed I-40. I will call the State Dept. of Health and recommend they inspect. The ceiling in the room and the bar was dripping water. There had been obvious pach jobs made in the carpet and walls. The bathroom counter was falling apart. Thankfully I had a sleeping bag in the truck and slept in it on top of the sheets. This place needs to be bulldozed over. Beyond repair and I can't imagine is healthy for any human to stay in. It makes me sick that I paid $89 to stay here for the night.

Enjoyable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/12/08
It was nice to go to a place where just about everything I needed was there. Food, Drink, workout facility, swimming pool and location. A very friendly staff.

WARNING
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/05/07
This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. We checked out almost immediately and were charged for the stay!! This is under dispute. The water did not work in one of the bathrooms and would only produce scalding hot water in another bathroom. It smelled awful and hadn't been cleaned in years. The sheets were horribly stained and the refridgerator was severely broken apart. My friend was bit by "something" and her hand swelled up quite a bit. The health department should condemn this hotel. I had read the reviews but was desperate for an overnight place to stay. I will never disregard reviews again. We continued on and were lucky to find another hotel in McAlester to stay in. I repeat, do not stay there.

Never Go Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/08/07
This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. Everything was filthy. I felt filthy just from staying there. The floors had stains, the walls had stains, the shower curtain had come kind of stains. Don't know what that was !!! We put spreads and sheets on the floor just so we didn't have to walk on it. The beds had stains as well. Don't know what that was either. Fortunately,we carry our own sheets just in case and boy did we need them. This place needs closing the doors!!!!

FILTHY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
Our family booked four rooms for a family reunion. We stayed in different parts of this old 1970's era hotel. It appears to have never been remodeled or renovated since it was built. Observations: The swimming pool had an old lawn chair sitting in the middle of it and it had straw floating in it. The water was not clear. The rooms were old, musty, dark, and dirty. The fountain in the middle of the indoor court yard had electrical extension cords powering it. The cords were not covered or taped down; some of the cords were taped together with duct tape. The beds had stained mattresses and the upholstered furniture in the rooms was flithy -- you couldn't tell what color the sofa was supposed to be. We will never stay there again and we definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

Nasty!!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/05/07
This hotel is disgusting, the rooms smell like mold and urine. The pool looks like it has not been cleaned in several years. Refrigerator????? Where was it???? The room was not big enough to have missed it, I guess they forgot to put it in the room. Needs major remodeling!!!!!
