Stay in Northern KY.......hotel is a waste.
By SAR, 09/30/09
For the price of 189 per night, the room was very plain, with an old CRT TV very few channels a mediocre bathroom with a busted shower head the shower sprayed the entire bathroom soaked everything. The beds might have been heavenly at one time.........not anymore. Our view was of a rundown apartment building behind the hotel. The worst part is I recieved my bill the morning of checkout was charged $222 when I got my credit card statement I was charged $265. I'm still waiting for them to contact me regarding the different charge.

Big Disappointment
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/09
The food at conference was cold, had to beg for coffee, wait 15 minutes for elevators, dark room, had to have key for everything, no bathmat after request, marathoners swore at me and I couldn't hear presenter because of them and meeting rooms were cold.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/08
advertisement said skywalk to great american ballpark . but there wasn't. room still had peanuts on floor when we got there. we never indulged in any of the things they offered. when we left our bill was 338.14 for one night . when we got home . i checked my account and they charged us 404.64 why? we had a better time at a supper 8 for less money and it was cleaner.

looking forward to returning
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/07
The hotel staff was friendly and very quick to offer local information. The room was spacious and comfortable. The central downtown location was perfect and very easy to get to from the interstate. I will use this hotel anytime I return to the city.

Westin Cincinnati
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/06
I had to wait until almost 5:00 for my room to be ready and the valet dinged up my car door. Otherwise, the rooms were comfortable with good views and the gym was top notch with flat screen TV sets on each machine.

They Do Not Care About Their Guests
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/24/06
I stayed at this Westin for 2 weeks, as I am a member of a traveling company of a musical on national tour. Very disappointed. The hotel decided to due maintenance work on their water system for the whole two weeks we were here. Basically, every time I wanted to take a shower I couldn't. Water was either completely turned off or freezing and on half pressure. Bathroom sink also had issues. Engineering Dept. invades room with no notice to change setting on TV. Internet is $12 per day. Slow elevators. AND guest key card required to select your floor. On top of all this, downtown Cincinnati is a ghost town with no life after the business day ends. Nowhere to get food for a decent price.

Check it all out first
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/25/05
Booked through Hotwire, which we got a great rate around $97.00,(which was prepaid). but found out after receiving our credit card statement $34.75 was added to our bill. I take it this was a resort fee, or whatever. None of this was told to us. Plus booking through Hotwire must have put us way down the list...we had a not so beautiful view of run down buildings from our window. The BED was the best. Room accomodations stated 2 bathrobes also per room. Ours had one, and it was enclosed in plastic, stating this robe can be purchased for $99 something. We didn't use the robe, figured they'd charge us. I just wish they'd be upfront about the added charges.

Classy digs
By George, 08/24/05
We loved our suite and the dining and shopping downtown. Food was a little costly.

Great beds
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/05
The beds and pillows at the Westin are the best I have experienced in all my travels (even better than home). I will definitely check out Westin in any of my future destinations.

Fill it up
By Kat, 05/25/05
You can tell that in it's earlier days the Westin Cincinnati had more to offer. With the decline of Cincinnati's downtown life though, there is not much to do within the Westin itself. Although the shopping and restaurants around the Westin are top notch, the restaurants within the Westin could be better.
