nightmare experience

while in transitional duties for my company, i stayed @ the holiday inn, springfield, ohio. not only was the service poor, it really did not meet any of my expectations. upon opening my bathroom door to take a shower, there were ants crawling on the floor. i called the front desk, they said they would take care of it and never did. when i came back to the hotel from work, my door was standing wide open with the do not disturb sign on. when i called the fromt desk, they stated that they are allowed to inspect the rooms every 24 hours without me being present. the next week, my girlfriend came to visit me for the day, and they told me they were going to charge me for her visiting, not spending the night, but just for visiting. the pool was milky in color, and the hot tub was not tempid, and the jets did not work most of the time. there were never any clean towels available to dry off even after calling the front desk requesting them. early the morning i departed, the fire alarm sounded, and hour later the fire marshall was pounding on my door, i let him and his crew in to check the smoke detecters, not twenty minutes later, housekeeping was pounding on the door, unlocked the door and tried to come in, even though the convenient do not disturb sign was in the key slot. ten minutes past, they tried again, they even called my room. i even saw them looking in the window. all of this continued until i left. i will never recommend holiday inn to anyone.....
