Ramada Austinburg Hotel, Austinburg

Hampton was full so we stayed here, it met my expectations which weren't that high. Breakfast was pretty good, cleanliness good, location very good. We planned on using the bike trail and the motel had easy access to it. Also a traffic light at the busy corner. No complaints but nothing to brag about. If we stay in this again the Hampton would still be my 1st choice.

The Hotel and staff were fantastic. Room was very clean. The restaurant was the rub. had dinner there. Never got a refill on coffee/pop. When we did get our one and only drinks, I asked for cream and the waitress pointed to a corner of the restaurant and said 'it's over there...' After she dropped off our dinners, she never came back to us... We tried getting her attention, but she never saw us. I even asked a couple sitting by us if we were invisible. They said they'd arrived about 15 minutes after we did and they'd gotten 2-3 refills and such. Over all, we love the Comfort inn and have stayed in many in Ohio. Just skip the restaurant...

The stay was very comfortable for us,rooms were very clean,the service was great and the staff was very helpful to our needs.The restaurant inside Bugsy's Steak House opened the day we stayed,The waitress was very friendly,the service was great,and the food was delicious,the portions were so big,we took it back to our room for later.We thought we were robbing them when we got our check,After talking to the New Owner,We found out they just opened.Keep up the good work Comfort Inn and Bugsy's Steak House.We will be back soon.

We picked this hotel over the others in the area because it has a restraunt in it- we thought this would be convenient- especially since there didn't seem to be very many other placed to eat (aside from fast food) in the immediate area. The restraunt, however, was NOT worth the stay. The prices of the food were too high (for what it was), we found the plates at the salad bar to be DIRTY WITH OLD FOOD and even though the restraunt is called a Steak House- I wouldn't recommend the steak- very poor cuts of meat. I'm just glad we didn't get food poisoning... The hotel room its self was in rather poor condition (scratched/beat up furniture, upholstered chairs w/ dirty marks...). The bathroom... floors... appeared to be clean. What topped it off as a poor stay for us, however, was the fact that the room satisfaction card from a previous guest was left in our room with all of thier personal info. (address, phone number...). What the heck?!?! By the way... they also rated the restraunt as poor... and thier stay mediocre...

Our first experience staying here in 2001 was when we were heading home (In.) from visiting family in VT. Tired and hungry we saw the motel sign and said "good enough". We were "pleasantly" surprised how immaculate the rooms were and BEST OF ALL in the restaurant/bar that night we had the best meal we had on our entire trip - bar none. We have stayed here 3 times since and do our best to have it as our stopping point. Price was great plus accepting AARP made it even nicer. Thank you Comfort Inn for having one awesome place and hope you can keep up the quality we have had in the past.
