A comfortable step up from a budget motel
I was offered a large, non-smoking room on the fourth floor (I specifically requested a room on the side away from the highway). The room was larger than most hotel rooms, and even with two queen beds, we had plenty of space. The room was absolutely clean, and totally quiet. We did not hear any sounds from the nearby highway, the courtyard, the parking lot, or from the adjoining rooms.
The beds had exquisitely comfortable mattresses, with four pillows each. The sheets were very nice, the room was absolutely dark (with the lights off and the blackout drapes drawn.)
The hotel and room decor was as we expected, tastefully and unannoyingly bland. The bathroom was clean, if a bit dated. The retractable clothesline above the tub was a nice touch, worked great to hang the kids swimsuits overnight, after a swim in the indoor pool.
The front desk staff was courteous and respectful. When I asked, the Sheraton Shuttle bus driver offered excellent directions.
Overall, a pleasant stay. An adequate step up from a budget motel, for the same price. (I booked online six weeks in advance, and got a very good rate.) I recommend this hotel, and will stay again.
