Will never go back!!
By ,
The hotel was filthy, had to dust everything in our suite, as it was covered with a film of dust you could write in. The layout of the suite was entirely different than what was on the website and very awkward with the bathroom being in the bedroom. The floor was dirty also and had to actually pick up as we had a 10 month old who is crawling and putting everything in his mouth. We even had to call the front desk and ask for toilet paper as there wasn't a full roll in the bathroom! I expressed my concern to the front desk to "kenny" and all he stated was that he would pass it on, no apology, or asking if there was anything they could do. Pool area was also chaotic. Would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Will never stay here again
By ,
I will never go back to this hotel -- It's filthy, pool area is dangerous and unclean, with absolutely no around to monitor it. We had left something in the hotel room that was not returned to us and we treated very poorly all around. The best thing about this hotel is its location, near everything, but I would be more than willing to drive if it means not staying in this hotel. The waterslide is nice, but dirty so I didn't even really want my family in the pool. I think money would be better spent somewhere else!

Poor and rude customer service and safety issues
By ,
We requested a refridgerator for our room. It took 2.5 hours to get it. I think they were understaffed for the weekend. We did not have a Do Not Disturb sign, did not get one until the evening. The room was not cleaned very well. I found coins and dryer sheets under the chair and we have small children that put everything in their mouth. When it came to ordering a movie, we had to swipe our card everytime and then call three times for the movie order to work. The doors to the stairwells need a bigger window or a glass door. Children were getting knocked in the head when trying to go through, because of individuals on the other side opening to get through as well. The pool area was a disaster. The hot tub had 20 kids and adults in it. It was over full. Kids were knocking each other down at the bottom of the waterslide. There was no staff on site to supervise the slide. There were no towels in the pool area. When we went to the front desk to ask for some, she insisted there were towels there and would not listen nor allow us to explain the towel bin was empty. She reluctantly gave us two towels, family of 6 here! There was ceramic tile all around the pool. Very slippery!!!! Not safe at all. The level indicators were also slippery. The immediate edge of the pool had non slip floor. The steps leading to the water slide had worn traction strips, need to be replaced! When we tried to use the sauna, we had to wait an hour for it to warm up and then barely broke a sweat! The pool area itself had too many people in it as well. It was just a complete hazard. The location is good, right across the street from the Kirkwood Mall, next to McDonalds, close to the Civic Center and various bars and resteraunts. Nickel's Lounge had great service! We will not be returning.

Great waterslide, poor customer service.
By ,
Our teens loved the waterslide and the rooms were clean but customer service was lacking. When I called to ask for pillows and blankets for the sofa bed I was told to come and get them...not a short walk given the large size of this hotel...and I asked for more towels which never arrived. Price was not cheap and I have had better service elsewhere. Also no breakfast provided...will stay elsewhere next time.

Beds were hard
By ,
We have stayed their, last year 2007, the beds were to hard. My Wife and I, wanted to sit in the hot tub, to many kids. the sauna was not clean. Payed the bill in full, got a notice, we owed more money, the last day. The restaurant food, is very expensive, lucky there was many food restaurants, in the area. The male bartender, very rude, waited 5 or more mins, just to get served. But overall, I would give it, 3 1/2 stars, and stay for a day or two ,2008

Awesome Fun for Everyone!!
By ,
This hotel was a ton of fun. The pool was something that occipied most of our time. The huge slide is a blast and my whole family would rush to get in line for it. Also, conjoining to the pool area is a little arcade. The pool area is a courtyard, so you can look out at the pool (we had a room like that) There is a sauna as well. I give the pool a 2 thumbs way up!! The rooms were very nice and the service was excellent!! I advise you to this hotel if you have kids. They will love it. We can't untill our next trip to Bismarck!!

50/50
By ,
Great location - can't beat it. Nice Motel. Clean common areas. Our room had a mattress shaped like a banana but other than that it was OK. Fridges are available but they are ancient. The pool area is fun for older kids. Not enough room for adults. Too many things crammed into a small pool. Children under 5 have no place to safely swim/play. There is an area with a small slide and sprinkler but it is constantly filled with older kids running through it and there is no place for parents to sit to help the younger ones. Slippery too. A nice motel overall though.
