When we first got there we werent even greeted at the front desk and something smelled like natural gas heavy in the lobby finally after standing there being over whelmed with the smell of gas we were finally acknowledged by a woman with a bad additude can't tell you her name because she was'nt wearing a name tag but she was an older lady with long blonde hair. We had been on the road for a long time and justwanted to get to our room but were informed our room wouldnt be ready until three. after finally getting to the room we found the bathroom dirty and the sheets on the bed had not even been changed. Anyone visiting the Southern Pines area should steer clear of this hotel its an awful mess

Ed, of the Holiday Inn

I visited the Holiday Inn a few weeks back and I got one of the best welcomes from Ed. He help me with my things with no hesitation at all , as well as give me direction to the nearest shopping centers, and restuarnts. The next mourning about 6:30 he greeted me again with fresh towels and my razor to shave. I offered him a tip , and he refused. I ask him what department he work in, and he said housekeeping. This young man is model of good customer service, and he strike me as a person that is quick to give and slow to receive. This is my third time meeting him,and I think he is a very good worker. the furniture was quite old and the rooms were dark. I stayed there in April 05 and really would not go back. I had a conference there is the only reason I stayed there. There are a lot newer & better hotels not too far away.
