Traveler's Inn, Lumberton

When I arrived with my rest stop coupon and there were only 4 vehicles in the parking lot I got the song and dance scam that those rooms were'nt available, so bait and switch right off the bat. The gas station style bullet proof glass and "no refunds" sign should've been my other sign but I was tired and desperate and wanted to save a few bucks. When I got in the room it smelled, looked like it was right out of the seventies, and the air conditioner barely worked. When I went to use the toilet i noticed dried blood along the baseboard and thats when I felt like I was in a bad movie. From that point on I woulnt use the shower or bed, slept in the chair for a few hours. To top it off I wanted to write this review on my computer while I was there on their "free" wi-fi but of couse no wi-fi. Place should be shut down by the health dept, atty general or something, worst experience ever dont go there! And whoever wrote those old reviews either works there or is trying make you have a bad experience too at their amuse

My elderly grandmother stopped there to get a room after traveling 6+ hours. She is on oxygen at night and asked the desk clerk if there was someone who could help her take her oxygen tank out of her car (not take it in her room just help her get it from the car because it is on wheels), she was told nobody would be able to help her so she was forced to leave and find another place to stay. Terrible customer service and overall rude employees.

this one of the other greatest hotels ive stayed in. they had very elegant rooms with nice room sevice. it was like sleeping in a 5 star hotel for a very cheap price. the bed were also very comfortable, like the hilton ones. they also had very freindly staff and it was a nice location too. there wasnt any problems in the 5 times if stayed there. i reconmend this hotel to everyone.
