PLEASE DONT STAY HERE IT'S HORRIBLE!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/3/11
This is the WORST NASTIEST hotel I have ever stayed at. I had booked the room for Feb 25, 26, and 27. The sheets on the bed were for a twin mattress and my bed was a full. They kept sliding off. When I woke up in the morning the sheets were completely off the bed and I was laying on a bare VERY VERY dirty and stained mattress. I called front desk to get different sheets and they said they would "try" to find me the correct ones. The next day while I was out eating at my daughter's house, they left me a twin flat sheet and what looked like a white table cloth on my bed. On Saturday night there were so many disturbances outside of my room I was afraid someone was going to knock down the door at any moment and rob me. I was actually scared for my life!!! There were drug deals going on in FRONT of my window (I could hear everything they said), drunk people sitting on the hood of my car and people screaming. The next morning there was blue paint scratches all over the side of my car. The staff at this hotel should be fired. The sink in the bathroom has a huge crack in it and the floor was so filthy I didnt even take off my shoes. There weren't any batteries in the remote to the tv and the back was missing to the remote! My daughter had to loan me some full size sheets and blankets so I didn't have to sleep on a table cloth or disgusting mattress. I took photos of everything as well. It was so bad that I didn't even stay at the room on 2/27 even though I paid for it. My husband and I packed up and left Saturday cutting our trip with our daughter and grandchildren short because of the Ramada's negligence. This was a horrible horrible stay and I will NEVER stay at a Ramada Inn again. This hotel should be condemned and I am making sure all my friends and family know about this nasty place.

Don't stay here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/15/10
The room was dirty, the carpet was torn and the desk clerk was rude and unwelcoming. There are too many other hotels in the area, so avoid this one if at all possible.

Room for improvement......
By Becky, 8/6/07
Upon check-in, our room temperature was 90 degrees, the A/C was not working. It took 3 phone calls for them to even check it. The next morning, it had "cooled down" to 80, and the ventilation system went down. At this time, a strong odor of sewer gas started coming from the tub drain. Two phone calls later, and a trip to the front desk, we were moved to another room. That was Friday, and we never saw housekeeping service until Monday. They were "busy" - we had no: towels, soap, TP, _ I had to make the beds and clean the bathroom. Then, the dryer broke, and all they could offer the guests was "2 hand towels each". On a positive note, the people were so friendly, and continually apologized. I think the motel has potential - paint, carpet cleaner, Lysol, an in-tact sofa bed would do wonders.

Not the nicest Quality Inn
By Christine, 4/14/07
We stoped here on the way home from Florida. The best thing about this place was the size of the suites. They were huge and good for large families. The sofa bed was in very poor condition and the overall apperence of the room was kind of run down. It was nice to have 2 tv's. Couldn't find the free breakfast. Asked for an extra pillow and the walk to the lobby was very long.

this is not a very welcoming hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/19/07
well first of all this hotel doesnt ever shampoo the carpets... it has nasty stains on the sheets and the beds are very old. how would i know..? because my father used to own that hotel. but we got out of it very quickly due to expense trying to actually make the hotel nice. this hotel looks like it booked everyday, but its not its just the bar that they have in adelios. i wouldnt reconmend this hotel to any because i had to stay in it while moving to a new place and hotel. it was horrible. little coachraochs crowling around.... this hotel need to keep thier rooms cleaner and need to hire a new staff. the old staff doent care weather u like the hotel or not. the dont care if u dont have enought sheets they will say " sorry but we are out". im like how can u be out when u have a 120 room hotel and u must have extras. the hallway on both floor has a odor i cant explain thats been thier ever since we bought, and sold the hotel. i didnt recondmend this hotel to anyone and i never will

Excellent Value, well maintained
By LeeG, 12/6/06
The Quality Inn & Suites is an older, two-story hotel. It has interior corridors, but the first floor rooms also have exterior access doors. My family used it as a base to visit South of the Border. Our room on the first floor was very well maintained considering the age of the property. It was revamped recently with new furnishings. Rooms featured all the amenities one would need for an overnight stay. The entire hotel was clean and rooms were quiet at night. The staff was very friendly. The hotel's restaurant served very good food for dinner and an acceptable free continental breakfast. For $60 a night this hotel was an excellent value and I would definitely stay there again. Would probably not return to South of the Border, though.

noisy room
By Tina, 7/27/06
We had a king bed on the 2nd floor. The room was non smoking, but the hallways still smelled like smoke. The floor in the bathroom was strangely sticky. Also, someone checked into a room next to us at 1:30 am and it sounded as if they were in our room. We didn't sleep the whole night. The room did have a fridge and microwave. There was a small loud bar near the check in counter that was packed with people drinking and dancing. I guess it is great for singles or people without children.

comfort at a'quality' inn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/4/05
I always enjoy my two 'one night stands' at the Quality Inn in Lumberton, N.C. My kids and I usually arrive aggravated and exhausted from our first day of our 24 hour drive to Florida, and within minutes we are checked in and comfortably sprawled out on our beds eager to get a good night's sleep. The rooms are always clean and stocked with all the things we'll need for the night. The desk clerks are always friendly and courteous. Our overnight stay is always rejuvinating and although I dread the 12 hours that lie ahead of me when I start the car at 5 A.M. , I know I'm as well rested as I can be.
