Pine Needles Lodge And Golf Club, Southern Pines

Fabulous course,Friendly staff, the epitamy of southern hospitality!! Although...... A group of guys and myself have been going to this fine facility 10 + years now every april! Well this last april of 09 we treated horribly there was a power outage and we were shuffled over to mid pines! when i contacted the resort manager dan fix regarding some sort of compensation i was met with total disregard disrespect, and unappreciation!! i cannot believe the people who own this place could allow such an unproffesional person represent there name and establishment(bullet bell must be rollin in his grave) I would suggest to all who do plan a trip to pine needles, Stay at mid pines but play pine needles. Im sure it will only be a matter of time before Mr Kelly Miller realizes what type of grease ball Dan Fix happens to be and rids Pine needles of him!!!! According to the scantily clad barkeep Kim management is a revolving door there! My dissapointment lies in the fact that this place had always been very upstanding! extremley classy! outstanding food and service! to which i was met with a barkeep wearing a corset (in a family establishment) a manager drinking behind the bar) and a resort manager who ran a fast food chain! The golf was great though cant rave enough about it! I will never be disapointed with the golf!!! Dont think we will be staying at pine needles next year, unless of course the resort manager is gone!!!
