Clarion Hotel Greensboro, Greensboro

This hotel has the nicest bar off to the side of the building. The staff was super nice to us and made our stay very enjoyable. Whenever we come into Greensboro again, we'll be sure to stay again.

The hotel was fine, no complaints during my stay. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming as we came into the hotel. Russ the Bellman and Deborah at the front desk were helpful on numerous occasions. Good place to get away and a welcoming staff will have me using this hotel again.

I stayed at the clarion for a couple of days for a conference and must say the entire staff is really courteous and polite. There is a bar in the hotel and that was a big plus after being in meetings all day. The place was very clean and the staff was awesome. I will be back !

This was the first time I have tried staying at this hotel and it really turned out to be a great experience. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very nice to my little girl. They had some crayons in the restaurant downstairs which helped us get some dinner quick and easy. I'd stay again.

We were given incorrect information concerning the time of departure of the early morning airport shuttle. We arrived in the lobby 7 minutes before it was to leave, only to find it had already left. We were then told by another clerk that it always left at 4:50, not 5 a.m. We had to pay $25 plus tip to take a cab. The hotel has refused to reimburse us for this expense. When we confronted the clerk about reimbursement, he mumbled something about checking with the manager, disappeared through a door, and we never saw him again. VERY poor service. Would NOT recommend this hotel.

I was at the hotel for a meeting for work and was very suprised by the great service and the confortable bed. The staff there was very helpful and friendly and the banquet room was great. The sports bar/resturant was fantastic and made what was going to be a boring work function into a very enfoyable week!

It is simply, the closest Clarion to the airport. ergo the title. About 8 miles to the airport. Why, then, all the airline crews? They give the airlines a cheap rate and provide transportation to/from the airport. The sports bar has average food with lousy service. Hotel rooms are no better than average and need some updating. Lots of reunions, meetings, and the resulting noise in the halls and rooms.

Roon cleaniness and facilities are just above average, and in fact this is a nice hotel. What I love about this hotel is the bar(restaurant w/ big screen TV's) inside. In room high speed internet connection is also helpful for business people. Outside the hotel, you can walk to a pretty good adult night club, but you need to bring your own beers. I probably come back to this hotel unless a 5 star hotel nearby discounts to this hotel's rate.

Location is perfect, right off hwy, easy to find; close to major road thru town, 20 min away from ballpark. Staff were very helpful, friendly. Nice buffet breakfast with friendly staff. Bit pricey, but it's all you can eat and pretty good. We had a king-sized bed and it was EXTREMELY comfortable!

I cannot believe the other comments on this site. Nowhere near the airport? Then why do they have 80 airline crew members per night? It is less than a 10 minute drive, and I had never been to Greensboro before. Boo hoo the hotel was sold out and could not find a blanket- you got it for FREE buddy FREE. Anyways, if you know your directions, or can just read a map like me, and a re looking for a warm hospitable staff and very nice, clean rooms this is your hotel. I had an awesome 7 day stay-no complaints.
