The Panoramic View, Montauk

First, let me say that I was unaware that children under a certain age were not allowed. When I made the reservation I specifically asked about a microwave in the room for the purpose of preparing items for a baby. No one mentioned it. Shortly after we checked in there was phone call from the manager informing us of this. At this point we would have happily checked out but there were no other suggestions as to where we might find a room. We were asked NOT to use the beach because their guests pay 'thousands of dollars' to have their children cared for as to not bring them to this motel. This information actually appeared in light grey type on the back of the room receipt BTW.
Then, the room was actually kind of gloomy. I was also not happy about the mold in the shower area, which was there for the ENTIRE week. We really did not enjoy our stay at this motel, never accessed the beach from their property nor used any other services that they provided. It also looks a lot better from the road. I do not recommend it.

No other place to stay with such a view, clean, good service,friendly staff, close to town, only place I want to stay.
