Quality Inn Finger Lakes Region, Newark

After staying at this location I will say the only thing good about my stay was the location. I had booked reservations here for the nights I was going to be in town. I stayed only the first night and then checked out after I brought a concern to the manager and she was beyond rude. My experience while speaking with the manager was the worse customer service I have had. The room itself was dingy and had a bad odor in it and there is no internet service, I could have coped with these issues simply because of the convenience of the location, however I could not tolerate the unprofessional behavior of the manager. I would not recommend the Quality Inn Finger Lakes Region to anyone.

with a group booking of 12 rooms - we all experienced problems of some kind ranging from NO HOT WATER, unclean rooms, broken TV's or phones, barefoot cleaning staff and broken air conditioners. All this aside, the most unplesant part of the weekend was the rudeness of the front desk in accomodating the various issues- even offering pliers to one of the guest so they could fix their own shower, and arguing with others that if they run the water "long enough" it SHOULD get hot. Although they did lower our rate to 1/2 price - the customer certainly did not COME FIRST here! Nice area, nice town too! BUT Call before you go- to make sure everything is in working order

For being in Newark, the hotel was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and the price was very reasonable. The food in the restaurant was the best around. Great little place in the middle of nowhere. The staff and management should be proud of themselves. I feel the price was very cheap, under $90 for a five star experience. If you stay on a Saturday they usually have a great band at the bar.
