The Hilton New York is located on 6th Avenue near Rockefeller Center, one block from Fifth Avenue shopping, and approximately 18 miles from LaGuardia International Airport. Located at W. 53rd Street and Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue), the Hilton is just steps from Radio City Music Hall, Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Broadway, and Times Square. Tiny and expensive, not worth it

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The TV was a widescreen LCD, but the cable didn't have any high-def channels, so what's the point? The whole place just looked old and dirty.

Back in 1999

I absolutely LOVED the spacious interior. The efficient elevators. While I was there, in 1999, NSYNC was staying there also, or so I heard. I also met a really great friend at the hotel. I liked everything about the establishment. It was my first time in New York and not one day was I dissapointed. I loved the fresh fruit they had available. The service was fantastic. If I do travel to NY again, I would probably stay there. The only thing I didn't like were the prices.

What a gift!

My husband and I never been to New York before. He is a country bunkin, and I was raised in Texas, although we been afforded the luxury of staying in the Aspens in Colorado, it does not compare to New York Hilton. That was my surprize gift to him for his birthday. It was alot more than just another trip, it was a spritual journey for us, as we visted St. Petersburg Cathral, the set of Seinfeld, a holiday tour, and we visted the Today's Show. It was to awesome to put into words. We been going to the Hilton since, and I will not stay anywhere else. Alea Houston, Texas

Very Enjoyable

The hotel and staff are great! Rooms are very comfortable and always very clean. The only drawback is when there are conferences there you wait forever to catch an elevator!!! But I love being close to everthing.....St. Pat's Cathedral, Broadway, Times Square and Cental Park. Always look forward to going back!

the hilton rules

I liked the food and the view, disliked the hairs on my sheet and the white stains on the dark duvet. Paris probably made one of her movies in the room I slept in. But over all I would give it a 6/10 wopper.

We would do it again!

The spa was wonderful. The massages were not overpriced. A must do. The concierge service was so helpful. They suggested and booked our dinner reservations less than an hour before dinner. They were helpful with getting around the subways. The staff were courteous and helpful.

A bit worn

Great location. Good, friendly service at front desk, concierge, and room service. They originally put us in a smoking room when we'd asked for non. Hassle free. They moved us to another room and adjusted the bill for the inconvenience. Clean. A little worn around the edges- frayed curtains. Cracked ceiling plaster repaired with a long piece of masking tape.

Great for families too!!!

This hotel is a gem. It is clean, well-staffed by knowledgable people, well-located, spacious, and well worth the money spent. The rooms have nice views (for NY) and are very, very comfortable. The hotel staff is curtious, attentive, and helpful. It's very close to all the "action" and there is even a tour desk to assist with arrangements for everything from city tours, to Broadway tickets and so much more. The food offered in the restaurant and by room service is well-prepared and not exorbinent in its price. My husband, our four young children and me all enjoyed this superb hotel. We definately recommend this hotel.

A Place To Relax

This a place where one can relax. Cool and breathtaking. If one needs a quality service caring and Time out out of the bustle and hustle of a month full of stress this is a plcae to get rest.

Would not return . Had a less than pleasant stay. The only good thing was the location. Spend 5 nights and do not enjoy any of them.

The location is very good. The receptionist are not the best. I requested a two bed room and when I ask at the reception about my request they deny there were any two bed rooms. On my stay my wife and I SAW many two beded rooms. The room was provided with ONE queen bed size/ very unconfortable/ The room was really small. The rug was old and damaged. I was counting on The Hilton tradition of service and quality. Was very disapionted
