Radisson Hotel Rochester Riverside, Rochester

I ate chicken wings at the bar one evening and the wings were so hot that i started to sweat. after consulting with one of the employees I was approached by a gawky man in a suit and tie and was told that "hot chicken wings make people drink more..." ohhh....whatever. probably the stupidest theory I have ever heard in my life but he seemed to think it was pretty brilliant.haha

I like the location as it is convienient for business purposes and close to several good places to eat. The bar staff is nice, it has lots of TV's with different games on and the drinks are reasonably priced. The fitness center has decent equipment and some TV's. Pool is outdoor only. As far as food, I think the breakfast is pretty good but stopped eating there at night. Never had a dinner meal that I liked there. There are way better options if you venture out. The AC/Heat unit goes off and on constantly so it's best to dial it in so you're a little cool in the winter and warm in the summer otherwise you won't sleep. Walls are a little thin so if by luck of the draw you have noisy neighbors you will here them for sure. I've read comments that you have to pay for parking but I have never had to. I am given a pc of paper to show the attendant (who is rarely there anyway. It's average for cleanliness. Overall it's above average for the money but I wouldn't eat dinner there for sure.

I have stayed here for 3 months for work. The staff is extremely friendly. They always want to make me happy. It is clean and fresh. The staff opens the gym earlier than the normal hours for me. The chef has even created a great stir fry of vegetables for me.

We chose this hotel to stay at for a business/family trip. We chose it because of the review here that says there are retail stores attached and figured that would give us a lot to do. There are no stores anywhere close. There are very few restaurants - NONE that are kid friendly. A total disappointment and ALL because of the inaccurate information on this sight!! The hotel itself was fine, pretty and clean. It would be great for business folks going to the convention center attached, but not for families!!!

Stayed here for New Years Eve Package and live in Rochester. DIRTY ROOMS - Management should lay in the bathtub and look @ the grime in the toilet - DISGUSTING! This is just not one day of not cleaning but months. Wrote manager an email on 1/2 and yet to get a response. Bartender excellent - New Years Eve Package with food and bar service was great - That's all though
