The Blakely New York, New York City

Staff was extremely friendly. Room was very clean and spacious. Slept like a baby. We had a king size bed. Parking right next door, $35.00 with validated ticket. Not bad. Close to Times Square, Central Park, St Patricks Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Saks, etc. My wife is very picky and she said she would definitely stay there again. A true test! Thank you everyone at the Blakely Hotel.

We came to New York with our children and grandchildren to attend the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival, where the top 15 high school jazz bands in the nation competed. Not only did we unanimously love the Blakely, but our grandson's Roosevelt Band won first place! How good can things get! Our suites were so comfortable, the beds divine, the coffee bar and frige very useful, the bathrooms lovely, with the greatest showers we have found in any hotel.The maid service was fast and impeccable. The front desk staff never failed to be helpful and friendly. We also loved the lobby computer, the marvelous location of the hotel. In short, our stay was perfect and we would all love to return to the Blakely any time we are in New York.

It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at Sweethoteldeals. Net They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Traveling with 4 kids requires booking two rooms. My husband and I had a great end room w/ handicap access (not nec for us but loved the extra space it gave esp in the bathroom) and the kids room was spacious. All clean. Great location. Only bummer was we were street facing and it was incredibly noisy. Couldn't move us with adjacent rooms so we stuck it out. Staff was on top of everything - even when the painters decided to paint the hallway at 9 pm - they kicked them out once we complained.Restaurant was tasty but $330 for the 6 of us - seemed a tad steep.

I stay at the Blakely 3 times a year for business. The location is great! Close to everything! The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are soooo comfortable! The staff is generous and accomodating. If this hotel is in your price range DO NOT consider another hotel! Just book your room at the Blakely and enjoy!

The location of the Blakely was great. It was clean and a very quaint hotel. The service was wonderful. The staff was always helpful. There was a lot of contruction going on in the back of the hotel and they started at 5am everyday. The staff tried to switch our room but couldn't, so they compensated us instead. The rooms are large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our teens liked the fact that there was a labtop for use in the lobby! We will definitely be back!

The Blakely was a great choice for our first visit to NY, if you are looking for a small hotel. The location is great, and it is a nice, quiet, clean hotel within walking distance of Times Sq, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave and the subway. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Jr. Suite was fine for 4 of us, 2 moms 2 kids...a great value and a little more space than a regular hotel room. Nice to come back to the peaceful Blakely after a day on the town!

It was quaint and peaceful. Service was fabulous. The beds were so soft and the rooms were exquisite. A charming and delightful staff was ready and willing to cater to your every need. Room service from the connected restaraunt is a must. Great Italian food. Wonderful atmosphere. I love this hotel.

My family has stayed in this hotel a total of 3 times. We enjoy the location. Your are near Central Park and close walk to Radio City. Great eating places nearby. Rooms are nice. We like having the microwave and fridge available. Also jacuzzi is great after long walks in the city. Staff is very attentive.
