Hotel Elysee, A Member of HKHotels, New York

It was a great hotel, I stayed there a few nights. I paid for most of it with a free gift card that I got from ESPN. I think they're still giving them out at nflgiftcards.info, hurry before they run out!

i loved this hotel! it wasnt the biggest room ive ever been in but the way the hotel feels is amazing! i was greeted by the nice people at the door who took care of everything! our room was so cute! the deco was beautiful it really was like stepping back in time. it was in a great location...and over all i will stay there every time i go back to new york!

We had a four night stay and the hotel is clean and the staff is nice. But if you stay on the street be prepared for multiple trash trucks throughout the night. Great Breakfast and free internet. Great location.

What a charming little hotel! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. We are telling all of our friends about the Hotel Elysee. It's our new favorite hotel!

A friend recommended this hotel to us in 1990. We found it to be an elegant oasis and have returned most every year since. The service is impeccable. What really makes an impression is the second floor Library. We enjoy a lovely continental breakfast each morning and then return each evening to have a cocktail and snack before heading out to dinner and the theatre. The location is excellent for walking to most shopping and sights. Ask for a room higher up and away from the street level traffic noise. Bathrooms and rooms can be smaller, however, have a traditional elegance.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at this hotel in Manhattan. This mid-town hotel is in the perfect location and within walking distance to almost everything! After you get over the sticker shock for NYC in general, you can appreciate the value at Hotel Elysee. They have a great free continental breakfast served until 10:30 am on the weekend, and a wine and cheese reception on the week nights. The wine that I had was very good (I tried the Pinot Grigio). In addition to the free food, the internet connection was also gratis. We found the room to be very clean as was the beautifully decorated marble bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful - and was even able to score us great theatre tickets. I'd definitely stay there again.

The lobby is very nice but when we stayed, there were ongoing renovations so we had to use the service elevator which was cramped and off a narrow walkway by the stairs. We barely could squeeze through with carry-on luggages. Perhaps the renovations are done now, but the room was cramped too and traffic is very loud in rooms facing the street. Location is convenient though.

Hotel was lovely. The help was courteous and accommodating. The location couldn't be better and nothing beats the price. Have stayed there a few times and always make it my destination when staying in NYC.
