I chose this hotel because with Holiday Inn, you can expect basic satisfaction. They list a swimming pool, but it is actually a "play pool" for children; you could not do a lap in it. Also, it is located inside the lobby! So not much privacy for you or the rooms whose doors are yards away. I could hear children playing (screaming) until 9pm though I was in another hallway.
Though the weather in Las Cruces is generally wonderful, you cannot open the windows for fresh air. Instead, on a 70 degree day, you must turn on the a/c; otherwise the room is quite musty and smells of cleanser.
