DUMP - DUMP - DUMP !!

I had a meeting in the town of Union. Based on logistics, Hotel 304 was the closest place to stay. What a mistake. If I hadn't arrived so late in the evening, I would have checked out and left. I did leave the next day after cancelling my 2nd night stay. The office where I had my meeting set me up at a GREAT, clean "national brand" hotel in the neighboring town of Westfield, at the same price as Hotel 304
Hotel 304 issues I experienced: TV didn't work. Wallpaper peeling from walls in room. Bathroom had 2 bath towels, 2 wash cloths...no hand towels. dirty carpet. One room down the hall had a 1" gap on the top of their door where you could literally see the light from their room in the hallway! My room door didn't lock unless I slammed the door. All decor and televisions are old, at least 10 years old. Nothing is updated. I would never let my wife or kids spend a night at this place. I was told by a Taxi driver this place "used to be nice" before Holiday Inn yanked it's license from the current owner due to not complying with policies. Front desk staff was very nice but obviously limited due to poor management and ownership. Adjoining Bar/Restaurant was nothing to brag about. Look elswhere. Their own (Hotel 304) website wont allow you to access their "review" screen. An error message coninues to pop up...how convenient.
