Where Hookers and Junkies Go To Die
The Red Bull was absolutely terrible. First off, the desk clerk sounded like we were boring him when we called and asked for a price, and then couldn't be found, at first, when we arrived. It was cold and raining, and I had to stand outside, pounding on the door, to get his attention. The light by the door was out, so we had to stumble in the dark to turn on the light in the middle of the room. The towels were either stained or dirty, I'm not certain which, nor did I wish to risk infection by examining them too closely. The bath tub didn't drain, unless you held the plunger down, and when I brought that to the manager's attention, she informed me I should have said something sooner. I told her we had gotten in at 5am, and gone straight to sleep. She finally gave me a key to another room so my friend could shower, but was very insistent I bring the key back by noon. She offered insincere apologies, and nothing else. I will sleep on the side of the road before I stay there again.
We paid 4 times the amount we had been paying for our campsites the rest of the weekend, and the campsites were cleaner!
