Village of Loon Mountain, Lincoln

This place has a great location! Units have been updated, and very clean. The pools are great too. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and very friendly 5 star service!. I can't wait to bring my family back to the White Mountains, and to the Village of Loon.

My family loves this place. We reccomend it to any families and friends.The pool is great and so are the rooms. We will surely be visiting this place again.

As an advanced intermediate skier who learned on trips out west, I had low expectations of Loon, but last week (i.e., early January, 2006) I went for two days and had a great time. Part of this is just luck (there was decent snow--natural and man-made, no wind, and the temperature stayed between 25 and 31 all day). It was also good that we went on a Monday & Tuesday, avoiding long lift lines; never waited more than 10-15 minutes (usually far less than that) even for the nice gondola that goes all the way to the top. Beautiful panoramic views. Decent range of terrain. The slopes were almost all beginner- and intermediate-friendly, but there were also a few mogul fields that would challenge all but the top 5% of recreational skiers. The employees were all friendly, mostly from other countries (Jamaica, South Africa, England, Eastern Europe). The beer and food were pricey, of course, but well put-together, and the lodges were suitably, uh, lodgey. I had to rent skis, boots, & poles ($65 for 2 weekdays) and found the rental operation smooth and efficient. All in all, a really positive experience.

this has da best game room! lol i did not like the bed it was uncomfortable but everything els was perfect!
