Worst hotel experience EVER!
By ,
If you are disabled and need a handicapped room DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. In addition, the rooms smell like dog urine and the staff is extremely unfriendly. I have stayed at dozens of hotels around the world and have never had such a bad hotel experience as I did here. NEVER AGAIN!

rude staff and no houscleaning service
did like the convenience to the airport and surrounding area. made a reservation 6 weeks in advance- my room wasnt ready upon check in and staff barely looked at me ! called desk to complain about no houskeeping service- they kept saying " it"s las vegas and we"re sold out.- if you want houskeeping, you need to call the front desk and ask for it !" Bathtub was disgusting. ! I'll NEVER stay at that location ever again ! very dissapointing for a la quinta hotel !

Great Quiet Place to Stay
The staff was very friendly, and the continental breakfast was great!!!!! We even had shuttles to the strip as well as airport and we where in walking distance of a CVS as well as Hard Rock Casino. And to top it off because the shuttle was busy a few times we had to get cabs.... And the HOTEL picked up the charges, 3 cab rides roughly 30 dollars in cabs fees. Nice quiet clean pool... small nice fitness center and free internet as well as free parking if u want to rent a car. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenience, cleanliness, customer service and overall appearance.

Much better value than Strip Hotels
By ,
The staff here treated us like gold. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The free shuttle picked us up at 3:00 am when we had missed our connecting flight and took us everywhere we wanted to go for the 2 days we were there. There are great restaurants within walking distance. The room was nice and had free internet, which most of the strip hotels do not. The bed was much more comfortable than most hotel beds. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator which I like when traveling. I would stay here again.

the dirty truth........
By ,
My recent review disappeared. This hotel is extremely dirty, really showing it's age. We had no drain cover on the bathtub(and it drained poorly), and light colored socks became black. I cleaned the inside of our window, it was filthy and streaked. The staff is rude and only caters to the airline guests, who they have contracts with(doesn't mean that the airline people just love staying there, they don't have a choice). The shuttle is non-existent for regular guests, airline employess get first service, in all things. We were left catching cabs(and not once did a cab arrive when the hotel called, we would wait, then take off and catch one away from the hotel, they seemed to like the Starbucks across the street)from the hotel and back, and that's pricey depending on where you are on the strip, and how the driver gets you there. I have no ax to grind with this hotel, just thought that others should be warned. And as for it being dog friendly, it isn't, you are told it is when you reserve, bur are asked to sign a form when you check in saying that you will not leave your dog in the room alone. I don't go to Vegas to stay in the room, I go for business, and often. I know the city and the hotels well, and this is one to avoid. There are MANY family friendly hotels off the strip, and other pet friendly places to choose from. (PS I did complain to the staff, they brushed everything off, I called the 1-800#, twice, and never received a response to my complaints.)

Great Place for Doggy Guests!
By ,
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn Las Vegas Airport from December 21-24, 2007. It was about a 20 minute walk to The Strip. However, they had a free shuttle service to specific stops, such as Harrah's and Hooters, which was available 24hrs/day. Our stay was just under $400 for the 3 nights w/ all the taxes and at the AAA rate. No deposit or charges for the dogs and no parking fees either! We enjoyed their continental breakfast every morning (bananas, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, etc.)and found it to be quite filling. The overall cleanliness was pretty good, but our huge, jacuzzi type tub/shower seemed a bit old and a little more on the grey side (should have been white). The tub was also cracked. They are dog-friendly and we walked our 2 Golden Retrievers across the street along palm-tree lined Howard Hughes Drive. Just please pick up after you dog to keep the hotel puppy-friendly. You will find a note on your door if your dog is barky, as we saw on someone else's door (thankfully not ours!). Would definitely stay there again!

Love it!
By ,
We have stayed in many La Quintas on the West Coast and have appreciated all of them. The Room was comfortable and large for the amount of money spent. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the complementary free breakfast. The food was fresh and very tasty and the variety was very good. Next trip to Las Vegas will definitely include a stay here.

One of the best hotel values in Vegas
By ,
Stayed here on a Saturday night and got a rate that was less than half the cost of a decent room on the strip. The large rooms were immaculate, and housekeeping even delivered fresh towels just a couple of hours after we checked in. Good location only a few blocks away from the strip and close to the airport. Very close to a number of excellent restaurants. Continental breakfast is a nice perk, especially now that the days of cheap food in Vegas are long gone. We were surprised to find extras like oversized whirlpool tubs and kitchenettes at no additional charge. The hotel seems to be used by many airline crews on layover, so quality must be pretty consistent. The only negatives were that the staff was a little overburdened (some people had to wait 30-40 minutes for housekeeping to prepare a room upon arrival), and a bunch of extremely noisy guests (later learned that it was a bachelor's party) woke up the entire building at 4:00am. If you don't need or want a room in a casino hotel, you won't find many better options than this. Excellent value and highly recommended for the price.
