Great location and quiet
By Jackee, 03/23/09
We had our second stay in March 2009, we first stayed in February 2007 and we said we had to come back. We love the full kitchen and the rooms are nice because they were pretty big, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing! No doubt, we will be back, soon...

Will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/02/08
We wanted a place to stay right on the beach. They advertise "white sandy beach". The beach is sandy indeed but it is also mostly rock and is hard to walk on. The sand nearer the water is like cement. The chairs on the beach are uncomfortable and can be purchased at your local hardware store foe a few bucks. Ditto for the umbrellas. Not very pleasent at all. The rooms were stifling hot at night and opening the windows was not an option because of the very noisy adjacent road. The beds are covered with cheep feather comforters (in july!) which are very prickly with feathers poking out all over. No ammenities at this place, only 1 soda machine. The hot tubs are full of sand and the water is gross looking. There are nicer places withing a couple of blocks for the same price but a lot nicer. Old creaky building with thin walls, we will never go back.

unforgetable vacation
By Don and Julie, 02/01/08
The rooms were large and well appointed. The kitchen had new oak cabinets and was fully equiped. (even a blender). We came to ski and you could leave the parking lot in either direction and get to fantastic ski destinations. The views of Lake Tahoe were fantastic from every room. The pine beams and vaulted ceiling gave our suite a mountain cabin feel. The owners and staff were friendly and courteous. Our king size bed had down blankets that were toasty after a day on the slopes. We planned our vacation from Memphis for quite some time and we were not dissapointed. If we make it back to Lake Tahoe, we will definately be staying here again.

Mourelatos--What a Great Find!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
This unique, well-appointed, family run hotel is a dream come true. Comfortable, well designed rooms. Beautifull beach, gorgeous views from your own front porch. Helpfull staff. Public areas kept up daily. Wonderful for families, singles, and small groups who want the perfect Tahoe experience. I've been in first-class hotels in almost 60 countries and this one of the best.

Great Location, Awsome View
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/05
Stayed off-season. King room w/full kitchen was nicely furnished. Dishes required washing, bed needed replacing - but adequate. Overall very good value. View is incredible, private beach. Don't ski, so appreciated the quiet location. Family owned, very friendly helpful staff. Would stay here again for sure.
