Simple and Beautiful

It has the perfect location! The views are beautiful and the beach is right out your door~ Not much fancy about this place...but all the comforts you need including a hot tub overlooking the lake! Great price and friendly people.

my favorite in north lake

i have stayed here 10 or 15 times per year for the last 7 or 8 years.i usually stay in the same room (not gonna tell so its still available for me). the people who run the place are super nice. the hot tub is right on the beach. there's also a great sushi bar across the street. it's not fancy but if you want a comfy, inexpensive place to sleep after a hard day in the snow this is it.

Awesome, by far!

I just stayed at the Goldcrest Resort motel. It was absolutely wonderful. We had went to the very close Safeway and got breakfast foods and lunches for skiing the next day. It was very convenient. They have about two nearby family oriented restaraunts Jasons and Lanza's. Jasons is normal cuisine, cheeseburgers, pasta's, steaks, seafood, chicken etc...Lanza's is an Italian Restaraunt. They have excellent Pizza and pasta. They are both very moderatly priced. Northstar which is an awesome family friendly, and very safe ski and snowboard resort. They have equipment rentals, a shopping village, 15�Lifts,�71 Runs and 8,000 feet. It is excellent, you can go up the gondola and gaze over the new trees in the fresh powder. Overall, this Motel is near almost everything: restaraunts, skiing/snowboarding, Movie Theatres, and Tahoe City is just around the corner! Enjoy!
