I have stayed here several times (as a batchlor) since its a sure place to get a room for Saturday nites when everything else is booked. Downside is the rooms are glossed over "scuzzy". That is, on first impression they may look OK - but, look a little closer and you begin to get reminded of "trailor park" conditions. Its in the same category as the "Downtowner" and the "Westerner". Arguably OK if by yourself - but dont bring a loved one. I also was once given a room that had a cockroach smashed on the wall - Some of the maids are from "overseas". Just found out they raised the rate to $29 +tax a night for all rooms. Sad. Good location makes easy access to downtown casinos. Bring a can of Lysol.
Okay this is great if you are cheap and dont mind staying in a scary part of vegas. And have the possibility of having your car stolen. First of all we asked for non smoking and the maids were in there cleaning the room smoking. It looked like a big animal died in the pool. There were squashed bugs on the wall. It looked like someone peed on the lamp shade. We stayed for 30 min. before we checked out and booked a room at the Luxor. All I can say is cheaper isnt better in vegas. You get what you pay for. If you need to stay at a cheaper place please look around before you pick here. One nice thing I can say is they did give us our money back no problem. My mom pointed out that is probably because it happens all them time.
