I've stayed here twice...once in January for the concert, and then again at the beginning of september for foot ball game. The hotel was big enough with sufficient free parking space and everything was functional. I agree that the furnishings in the rooms do need to be renovated, but it's all still functional and really isn't a big deal for the price they offer you. The beds were really comfortable, and the bathroom does what it needs to. I love the atrium at the hotel. When we were there in January, it was bloody cold outside, so it pretty cool to get in the hotel and see trees and plants that weren't snow covered. I haven't woken up in time for breakfast, but I imagine that they are nice additions to any ones stay. The staffs at the hotel are friendly and helpful while check-in and out is very efficient. There were many restaurants in an around area and the stay was definitely comfortable. In all I will stay here again.

This hotel was agood deal for the money. Highlights of this one: EXCEPTIONALLY quiet. I rarely heard any noise from other guests or traffic or airport noise. Good location for walking or biking by using "side streets". Only problem: AC seemed to be malfunctioning but it wasn't hot outside so I just didn't use it. I submitted a service request when I checked out. In morning I was surprised by hot breakfast buffet. My family loved it. I will stay again

I've stayed at this Hotel for two nights. The room was clean, quiet, and ready when we arrived. The front desk staff were very friendly. About 1/2 hour after we checked in they called us to make sure everything was OK and that they were "fulfilling their promise" to us. That's the first time I've ever had that happen from any hotel ! I was also surprised to see my name listed on the " welcome list" that was sitting on the front desk. The hotel was fairly full but quiet so it was easy to get some sleep. The beds were comfortable. We were in town for a concert at the Qwest Center. This hotel is about 8 miles away but traveling between the two locations was very easy via freeway. There are 2 malls nearby that are also easy to get to. The breakfast was very good: Waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs, sausage biscuits, coffee & juice. It was well stocked and attended to. I would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here several times. Have used this hotel for our bus tours and have sold rooms with sporting event packages many times. No serious problems. Rooms are clean - bathrooms exceptionally clean. Heat/air works great. Not impressed with exercise room. The hotel lacks a restaurant at the moment, which it should have. There are several restaurants within walking distance and many more within a half mile. Beds are comfortable, nice pillows. Pool area could be updated a bit, but it’s ok. Modern, roomy, bright rooms, wide hallways. No real complaints overall. If you need to complain about this hotel for the price you are simply too picky!

I have stayed at this location twice in recent months. My first stay was marred by noisy guests who checked in at 2 or 3 in the morning and were very loud. Not the Inn's fault, I guess. However, I must compliment the front desk personnel and the other staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great and the rates are reasonable. On both visits I found the rooms to be very clean and well maintained

After a terrible experience at another Omaha hotel, we were driving around looking for something else w/ our two kids at 11 pm at night! We came to the Carol Hotel. We were happy that the hotel was 100% non smoking. They had a room and the price was $60 a night. Great. Our room was on the first floor, at the end of the hallway. There was just a general smell of "clean." The sheets were stark white - very clean and comfortable. We had wireless internet which worked well. The TV offered cable as well and HBO. The shower/bathroom was clean. The water pressure was fine and plenty of hot water. We stayed for 2 nights. Each morning there was breakfast: cereal, sausage, egg and cheese biscuits that you microwave, milk, yogurt, bagels, English muffins, blueberry and oat muffins, doughnuts, toast, waffles that you make yourself, juice, coffee, hot cocoa, etc. It was nice for all of us. Our one complaint was that the sheer curtains did not block out the parking lot light when we slept. However, the next night, we discovered that heavier curtains hiding behind the sheers! So that was our fault. My daughter used the pool daily. It was clean. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience

We stayed one night at the Carol Hotel, while passing through recently. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was impressed in particular by one staff member who went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. There were several large groups there - a family reunion and LOTS of young teen boys in the area for a college baseball. She made sure we had a quiet room away from the groups, and when we were inadvertently given a room that someone was already staying in, she upgraded us to a suite and called to check to see if we were settled in later. She printed a local map to a restaurant we wanted to visit, and she also came back in the next morning, after working late, to make sure the complimentary breakfast area stayed well stocked with all the groups eating there. Needless to say, the suite was quite comfortable, really more than we needed for just passing through. It was decorated nicely, and the bed and shower were great at the end of a traveling day. We didn't use the indoor pool and hot tub area because there were so many kids there, but it seemed nice. The breakfast was pretty standard for complimentary breakfasts, but not bad. If you're looking for a hotel or just passing through, I would recommend this hotel. It's several miles out from the downtown Omaha area, but very convenient for shopping malls and highway 80..

We thought the staff to be very thoughtful and helpful. The hotel is very clean and beds were very comfortable with extra pillows. Enjoyed the television with premium channels. Breakfast was very good. Pancakes, Scrambled eggs, sausage Also all the other standard items such as bagels, muffins, toast etc etc. Very tasty. Would definitely stay there again. My family loved their swimming pool and hot tub.

I knew that I was taking my chances by booking here, but gave it a chance anyway. We could not stay in the first room due to the excessive smoke smell (it was classified as a non-smoking room), and a constant drip in the sink. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was very poor. The full breakfast was good. The staff was helpful, but it was obvious that the hotel ownership is not interested maintaining the facility.
