Rodeway Inn Bellevue, Bellevue

Not sure what everyone is talking about, thought the place was worth it, good staff, safe environment, clean room.

David and Ram who run the front desk went out of their way to help in any way they could! Very comfortable and affordable, close to stores and restaurants while also being very quiet . I would highly reccomend this hotel.

After reading some past reviews, I was a little apprehensive. But when I got there I was pleasantly surprised! The staff goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Although they do not have a restaurant, they did have a continental breakfast. The front desk clerks were very helpful in maps and directions to local places to eat and see. They even offered to make dinner reservations for us. The rooms are a little old but the furniture and beds and carpet looked to be recently purchased. I would stay there again. Very reasonably priced and good staff.

Room was dirty, and bathroom had leaked onto the carpet. The key they give you will work about 2 times then you have to get a new one. The service is terrible you can't get them to do anything for you. The woman who runs it is a rip and yells at the guests. The maids must live there because there are always kids running all over the place and they bring them in with you to clean your room. What ever you do don't use the hairdryer I went to dry my hair infront of my face and turned it on and it threw flames at me. Just wouldn't recommend it unless there is nothing else.

If you saw the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks, the American Family Inn in Bellevue is a lot like the hotel Tom Hanks stayed in that movie. It is just a filthy place to stay and they should take down the AAA endorsed sign hanging out front. We will never stay there again.

This hotel was the worst place I've ever stayed. Unfortunately there were no available rooms anywhere else in the Omaha Metro area. To start with the lobby was understaffed, and those who were attending to customers were rude. It took me over 45 minutes to check in. When I got to my room, I was expecting a nice retreat from the filth of the lobby, but instead was suprised to see that sleeping on the lobby floor would have been a better bet. The floor of my room was so dirty that I was seriously scared to take off my shoes. The linens smelled, the bathroom was dirty, the stove didn't work, the microwave had a large hole in the front of it. There were local children apparently working at the hotel, which made me question the local child labor laws. They were running rampant around the hotel premesise throughout my stay making noise and banging on doors. As far as ammenities don't be fooled. The pool has no water, the volleyball court consists of a wire connecting two falling down poles, the childs play area is an accident waiting to happen, but the stench of the hotel is apparently added at no extra charge. Sleeping in your car would be a better bet. All positive comments were most likely posted by the staff.

The worst motel I ever stayed at. The room smelled like a combination of smoke and dog. The carpet felt like the floor of a restaurant kitchen floor. For special occasions, they raise the rate. Beware of any hotel/motel that has a sign at check in that says, "Absolutely no refunds, don't even ask." If you care for your loved ones, do not and I mean, do not subject them to such a horrible place. The good reviews obviously have been written by the paid employees.

To begin with, we had to wait for them to make keys to the rooms because former occupants "did not return them". There were no new locks put on the doors, and they had to get master keys to make new ones. After several attempts and waiting for approximately 30 minutes we were able to finally get in the rooms. The rooms were disgusting, looked like they had no been vacuumed for quite some time. There were stains on the walls, light bulbs missing, no hot water at first. Dirt on the sheets and the place smelled to high heaven. No one ever checked if we needed clean towels or cleaned the room while we were there. Although it was inexpensive, I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applied in this case. The location was very convenient for access to downtown Omaha and the Qwest Center. Also, there were plenty of places to eat. Person who registered us said all their help had been let go and that she had personally cleaned the rooms herself. With the state the rooms were in, if it were me, I would not have admitted that I had cleaned them!!! Disgusting is the only word I can think to use that is half-way polite.

we enjoyed the pool during our stay along with the gazebo. rooms were fine and the help was good. the hotel was just how we needed it to be for our stay. i am not sure i understand about all of the comments on here but i am sure they are not true. i think that time is valuable and if you waste it being hateful well then you have a very unfulfiled life. the manager was kind and the housekeepers were good and did thier job so i would say i am satisfied with my stay and i would certainly return.
