What a hidden jewel

My wife and I traveled to Jefferson City to visit a friend. We had not made any plans of where to stay. We stoped at the Walgreens and I ask where a good place to stay might be the young lady told me that if I wanted something that was not your run of the mill hotel to try the Hotel De Ville. (she also warned me to stay away from the Capital Plaza Hotel) The Hotel De Ville was a real pleasure from the time you checked in until we checked out. The hotel is about 40 years old but you would never know that it has been completely redone new carpet , new lobby, new lamps ect. But the most surprising thing about the hotel is it is so different each room is different the lobby is very cozy and quite. It has a new bar and restaurant we ate at the restaurant I had one of the best steaks I have ever eaten and the service was perfect.The rooms had large screen T.V.'s with about 60 channels way above most hotels. I was able to watch my Cowboy's beat the Saint's (Go Cowboys) It also had Wireless High Speed Internet and it was high speed. I am telling everyone that this hotel is a real find. I stay in motels about 4 nights a week on business and this was without a doubt one of the best find's I have ever had the price was $59.99 and I would have paid $129.00 easy for this room. So the next time you are in Jefferson City Mo. on leisure or business please try the Hotel De Ville you won't regret the fact you did. (Mandy on the front desk was great)
