For those on a budget
I loved the convenience to restaurants and local attractions. It was very easy to find as it is located on one of the main boulevards in Oxford. The staff were very attentive and attempted to respond to each of my inquiries and concerns.
I did have two problems with this hotel. (1) The hotel advertises that they provide wireless internet; however, the wireless internet did not work the entire week of my stay. When I inquired about this I was told that was just an amenity that they offered and I would not be compensated for their failure to provide the service as advertised. My point, if a service isn't working, inform me at check-in so that I can decide if it's something I can live without during my stay.
(2) The continental breakfast was horrible; not even worth getting out of bread for. It consisted of toast, 2-cereals, a few choices of instant oatmeal, some fruit, mini-muffins and juice in teenie tiny cups.
If you're a student on a budget and you need a place to crash for a couple of nights this isn't a bad deal. But if you're a business traveler and in need of extra amenities or on a week-long vacation shell out the couple extra bucks and stay someplace where you have reliable internet and at least some danishes for breakfast.
