Passport Inn Suites Natchez, Natchez

First of all I would like to say that we chose this hotel because of the location which was near the banquet hall for our family reunion. If we had known that this hotel was so nasty we would have chosen a different hotel for our family. The carpet was filty dirty, the walls and the bathroom were discusting. There were no clean towels in the room. I had to ask several times for house keeping to bring us towels. After several attempts, I decided to go to the front desk and get them myself (the clerk stated that housekeeping would bring them to us because they didn't have any clean towels). There were orange and white crusty stains in the sheets. Thank goodness we brought lysol spray to disinfect the room, especially the tub and toilet. We also brought our own bed linen because of the stained sheets that were on the beds. The hotel states that there are amenities such as cable television, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, coffee pots, microwave, and refrigerator in each room. However our room only had an ironing board, coffee pot, microwave, and a refrigerator that had a dead roach in it. The television only had one working channel. The one thing that concerned me most was the smoke detector which was suppose to be attached to the wall not thrown in the drawer. There were 3 wires sticking out of the wall where the smoke detector was suppose to be. It is one thing when 1 or 2 rooms are filty but when some of my family members checked out of the hotel the same day they checked in, something had to have been wrong. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever written a review about a hotel. This was by far the most filty hotel I have ever stayed in....
