Red Carpet Inn Rochester, Rochester

We checked intoour roomand checked right back out 10 minutes later! There was a fake fingernail on the floor, our bed had someone's pubic hairon the sheets and there was a watch battery in the bed when we pulled the covers back. The room itself was nasty. We wouldn't recommend this placetoanyone! GROSS!

I really liked staying at the Red Carpet Inn this past fall. I was there for one week for IV therapy at the Mayo Clinic. Even though some construction was going on, it didn't matter. The staff is polite and always available. My room was very big and comfortable. Thanks Red Carpet Inn!

I stayed at the Red Carpet Inn in Rochester MN in May of 2008. I decided to stay here because I was visiting the Mayo Clinic and I heard good things about the place. My expirience here was decent. The staff was very helpful with helping me find my way around town and the rooms were comparably clean. I've stayed at pricier hotels that weren't half as clean as this place. I think we paid a fair price for the rooms. We paid $45.00 for one queen size bed. There were no irons or hair dryers in our rooms but we only came to Rochester to visit the clinic. We did not want to pay $80- $90 for a hotel room just for the extra conviniences. I feel we got what we were paying for.

We have been coming to Mayo Clinic since 1983. Red Carpet has the friendliest staff of all the hotels we have stayed at. We stayed at an "upgrade 4 star hotel and were promptly robbed of several diamond rings. Red Carpet staff is honest and trustworthy. It is showing it's age but it is our choice for staying in Rochester.

The service was good. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was good. The problem someone else had mentioned about the skids in the tub have been fixed. It was what we look for in a hotel, clean and friendly. The staff was very patient at breakfast with my 3 children. Yes, it is an older hotel. The tv had a knob, but it worked and the cable worked just fine. We stayed for 4 nights and we will stay again next time we go to Rochester.

The first thing i reserved in this hotel because of the review i read, but i guess the person who write it was on of the owners, because when i first came to this hotel outside was junk, the hotel is OLD FASHION! ITs smelly, unclean, and dirty. Old style tv, and the owner has a bad attitude and had an argument with me about 10 bucks. I made a reservation for one week, but i saw the hotel and automatically cancled the reservation to only ONE NIGHT! Its not worth even a penny!!
