LivINN Hotel St Paul East / Maplewood, Maplewood

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay! My husband and I came to the cities a few years ago and have stayed here ever since! The staff has a great attitude that radiates positivity to their guests. Andy, Malissa (the general manager) and the rest of the front desk staff have always been prompt with disturbances and sometimes even before I get to the phone! The rooms are finely furnished and well kept. We always have the TSE crew clean the room and they are the nicest and most fun bunch of people and are a joy to see every week especially Nancy, Jim, Steve, Marilyn, Holly and Brenda. All the housekeepers and front desk staff are a very friendly group of people who do so well at making us happy guests. I reccomend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay whether it's a one-night stay or a couple of years like us! :D

the desk clerks are wonderful, attentive and always ready to help. Cant say enough good about all of them. Ashley and Heaven, I believe the newest ones. Looks like they both love their job so much, and the opportunity to help each person as best as possible. Housekeeping.... well, I am a slob. Papers all over. I am a weekly guest so sometimes it is Dawn, and sometimes Lisa, but both are amazing. Wish i could take them both with me, when i leave. This place is amazing. My guess is, with staff this good, the managers must be super people to work for.

We were put into a room that was supposed to be non-smoking but had obviously been used as such. We asked for a different room but they couldn't accommodate - the best they offered was that they fined anyone who smoked in it extra (although they wouldn't credit that fine to my bill). Furnishings were badly worn, with veneer chipped off and legs buckled on the desk. The night stand was a pedestal and had room for the phone and clock and that was it. Neighboring room had screaming children running up and down the hall and the staff declined to do anything about it. We left a day early rather than spend another night there.

Clean Rooms and really liked it when we opened the window doors, your view was looking over a lake. Bathrooms were a little small but who spends that much time in there anyway.

I was in town visiting family and stayed at the livinn hotel in maplewood. I had an amazing visit. The staff was great! The rooms were amazing very cozy and clean. I just loved the view of Tanners lake. I would reccomend this hotel for anyone.

Apparently the front desk girls live at the hotel and unfortunately the first 2 spots we were put was right next door to one of them. Kids were running up and down the hall at all hours not to mention they had some "guests" to entertain between 2am and 4:30 am. 4th floor water pressure sucked and you could hear water squelching underfoot in the bathtub while taking a shower. And yes you do have to request cleaning service daily if you are staying for extended periods. I stayed 16 days. But the girls at the front were nice. However for the price? We booked on hotwire for $26 a night. It was alright for the price.

Was real pleased--paid $45 including taxes for one night. Halls were dim but room was OK. Carpet was soiled but not too bad. Bed was a bit hard but all in all it was an exceptional deal for the price--free internet too, a lot of the big guys charge for internet. I didn't expect a five star hotel at this price so i wasn't disappointed.

The staff was really helpful with anything I needed. (+) The room was dirty, i found dog poop under the bed and a chewed up kleenex box under the other. I also found dog hair behid the night stand. (-)

I thought this was a great place to stay. I just stayed last weekend and will be back again. Clean rooms great staff!!!
