out side of buildinng needs work trash in parkinng lot floors in hallway need swept pool area need swept and moped room need things fixed in hallways thungs needed fixed fixters need to be put back in wall paper needs updated

We rented a meeting room for a baby shower. Not only was there broken glass on the meeting room floor but neither bathroom was cleaned, trash was full and there was no toliet paper, soap or paper towels in the bathrooms. When we asked one of the housekeepers in the hallway if she could spare a couple rolls she told us no because of the shortage of supplies but ended up taking a roll out of a room that wasn't being used. After we left we were informed by a friend that planned to use a meeting room for her wedding reception that the hotel had had an outbreak of bed bugs that same week.She changed her reception location. Nasty Nasty hotel do not waste your money!!!! This deserves zero stars if this review would let me submit it that way.

Don't stay here! Bedbugs! The place is a dump! The lobby looks nearly brand new which is very deceiving. The hallways and rooms look like a fraternity stayed for a year. I was given room 179. When I walked into the hallway I noted the carpets were filthy, there was a bad odor and the place looked in disrepair. I opened the door and noted it wouldn't close all the way. I had to put my shoulder into jamming it closed. I literally found dead bedbugs around the bed. I wish I could attach pictures because I took them with my phone. I also found the room to be filthy and even noted a used q-tip near the nightstand. Staff at the desk was less that helpful. Do not stay here unless you are used to third world accommodations.

First of all the Staff is great. But the rooms are nasty. I stayed here for five days due to negotiate own price off popular website... Never again. I was bitten by bed bugs and my luggage and clothes were infested by bugs as well . I confronted the manager who seemed very understanding but her hands are tied as I paid the webservice ( do not want to mention name but it is not Hotwire.... The hotel offered money back for one nights stay ? This is not a corporate owned hotel ? Does that help....Do not stay here if you are smart there are other places close by with comparable price. plus no bed bugs

This hotel is by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. I had to switch rooms three times until I finally realized that I just wasn't going to get a clean room. There were so many problems I hardly know where to begin. The person at the desk was in "training" yet there appeared to be no one there training him and it took him forever to do the simplest things. My boss booked this hotel and since the room was in her name he accused me of trying to steal the room and then, after copying my id, he couldn't count and said I was under 21. And he didn't even apologize. The light bulbs were missing from a lamp and the over-head light was blown out. He handed me a light bulb and said that maintenance left for the day and the over head would get fixed the next day. (it was only 4:45 pm. how does a hotel not have maintenance staff on hand? and my light was never fixed.) There was hair in the sheets, and one was just turned inside out. The floor was filthy with large items of refuse on the floor. It looked like the carpet hadn't seen a vacuum in a while. The bathroom was awful. There was literal trash in the tub and the towels were just dingy, rough, and thin. Worst yet may have been the fact the security bar was missing from the already ill-fitting door. As for the staff, well they definitely fit into the atmosphere of this dilapidated hotel.

There was nothing I would recommend good about this hotel. The weekend that we stayed was to celebrate with my family for Christmas and there was some kind of wierd adult party going on in the entire hotel. We saw and heard things that were so disgusting I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. We had young children with us and there were other families with young children that were allowed to witness sites that no child should have to witness. The rates are great but there is a reason why. Please do not stay here.

They need to get all new house keepers in there and clean it up if they did that it could be 3 star place to sleep,MY bathroom was full of hair and bathtube was dirty so when i do go back im going to take some cleaning stuff with me and clean my bathroom

This hotel was filthy!! All of it - halls, rooms, elevator. The room was gross. First thing I did was check for bed bugs. Happily surprised there were none at this time. Phone in room didn't work, the toilet ran constantly, the towels were stained and in the condition of rags, and it was obvious by the dirt and pieces of food and whatever, that the floor hadn't seen a vacuum in quite a while. This hotel is a disgrace to the Days Inn franchise and needs to be visted by management of corporate Days Inn.

Nasty, want to get ripped off- just give them your cash. Room was filthy. At one time owned by a tax paying American citizen. Want a look at how low life people live and play- stay there. Location 1177 West Saginaw Highway, Lansing, Mi. 48917

My nephew and I spent the past Friday and Saturday nights at this Inn. We were in a bowling tournament and left our room at seven a.m. for breakfast. We then bowled in the tournament and returned to our room about 2PM. Our room was still not made up. My nephew called down to the desk and they assured us that it would be taken care of. We then left for awhile and came back at 7PM and our room was still not made up. My nephew again called the front desk and they gave him a big run around and he decided to go doen to the desk and confront them face to face. After a big scene at the front desk housekeeping finally showed up at our room to refresh it. This place is definetly off my list. Bob Rybicki Sterling Hgts. MI
