I wouldn't stay here again

The room was ok. The tv was poor condition. There was a hair in the shower. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great Location for Fenway

This was a great location to go to a Red Sox Game - it was close enough to walk - better price than most of the others in the area, rooms were clean and large - staff were very nice and I liked the restuarant and bar - good beer and martinis after the game. I would recommend it to my friends! We also went to the Museum of Fine arts the net day and they were having a special show - all in all it was a great trip and the hotel was perfect!

Marginal hotel at terrible rates

The only thing good about this hotel is its location if you have a loved one at one of the hospitals, as it is an easy walk to several major hospitals. We stayed the night before surgery for my partner at Brigham & Women's Hospital and was booked for four nights. I checked out after just one night. The room was tiny and cramped, desperately needed upgrading as it was worn and tired. I've seen dorm rooms from the 1960's that were better! I couldn't get the internet connection to work, we had to take the top off the toilet to make it stop running after every flush, and the cleaning was superficial, including the discovery of a soggy, moldy coffee packet in the coffeemaker. How dare this hotel charge $189 regular rate and $159 "special medical rate" for this room! Parking is an extra cost as well. I got a much cleaner, nicer room at the Boston Park Plaza for $119 per night and rode the "Green Line" train for the remainder of my stay. Other than a room, this hotel offers nothing one might seek for amenities. It is dreary! It is adjacent to the Longwood Galleria which has a decent restaurant but is otherwise a small food court like you see in a mall. Unless you absolutely want to or need to be at the hospitals, avoid this hotel!

Do not want to stay again

WE arrived after a 5 hr. drive from Central New York (early morning medical appt. was the reason for vist). We were informed that the water would be turned off at 8 AM until 5 PM, the next morning due to the construction in the area. When I asked about the availability of bottled water, I was told we would need to buy it from vending machines. I realize it was not their fault about the water but my opinion was they should have offered it at no charge. We did receive a 15% coupon for the next day for dinner at the hotel restaurant but since it was after 9 PM and we would be leaving right after our Dr. appt. The room was nice, but we were disappointed in the cleanliness- bathroom not very clean and room had not recently vacuumed, papers and lint on floor. My husband recently had a bone marrow transplant and cleanliness if very important- thank goodness I had Chlorox wipes with me! If it wasn't after such a long drive and had my husband been feeling better, we would have asked for a different room- which may not have been available since we received the Dana Farber discount.

Friendly staff, adequate accomodations

We needed a room in Boston and came across the Best Western. Older building and rooms, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and no problems with our stay.

every thing was really good and very nice especially a young lady at the front desk named lourdes she was excellent she gave me excellent service i think that she was the best one there you should give her a bonus for being so kind
