Econo Lodge Chicopee, Chicopee

The location is perfect, right off the turnpike, easy to go from chicopee to springfield and area restaurants and attractions. I was a guest this past weekend. On Saturday morning we called the front desk to tell them what time we would be leaving the room and what time we would return so that our room could be cleaned (our last 2 stays there within the last 2 months we have had issues w/the room getting cleaned) and again on the way out we stopped @ the front desk to remind them that we would be out for a couple of hrs could they please clean the room. Upon our return @ 4pm(later than we told them) our room was not cleaned. Upon going to the front desk there was no apology and we had to request towels twice. The next day when we spoke to someone regarding the matter they informed us that this hotel doesn't like complaints and maybe we shouldn't stay there anymore.(no apology here either) Mind you a special rate has been negoitated for us because we stay there so much. However, they would rather not have our business then clean a room which we're entitled to have done??? I have worked in customer service for over 20 yrs and the first thing you tell an unsatisfied customer is you're sorry and here's how we can fix it. We're not asking for anything unreasonable and we love the location because it fits our needs perfectly. Why should we have to go somewhere else just because the hotel staff doesn't want to clean the rooms?

We booked 2 non-smoking 2 double bed rooms (with cribs) and 1 smoking double bed room online. When we arrived, the clerk took over 20 minutes to check us in, after seeming put-out that were arrived. The clerk tried to give us 3 smoking rooms. Finally, the clerk ended up giving us the 2 non-smoking rooms. No cribs were in the rooms until we requested them (it was on our reservation). The rooms were all full of an awful odor. One room has missing light bulbs in the fixtures. One room could only be accessed by kicking the door open, maintenance man thought that was comical (who was present when we attempted to open the door for the first time). Check out was a breeze, very helpful person. The location was perfect but overall, I would not stay here again! Not to mention other people left while we were checking in due to the rooms and demanded full refunds.

Close to the family homes in the area and the turnpike. Rooms are generally clean, appliacnes work in the room...close to eating establishments and shopping. Pleasant staff

Easy to get to - just follow the directions. Hard right turn - watch out for the boulder. Nice Truck STop next store. Rooms super clean and recently rehabed. Not bad for the price..
