Not Worth The Price.

There is a difference between "quaint" and outdated, and the Nantucket Inn is definitely outdated. The rooms are "very used" as others have mentioned and the first room they tried to put my wife and I in had a large stain on the rug that looked as though it was either vomit or a pet stain. Most of the furniture and fixings are very old and you can see the layers of paint they put on the place to make it look nice. The entire complex is in need of updating and upgrading.
The front desk staff was less than pleasant, seeming almost annoyed that they had to actually deal with customers. I will say that the gentlemen who monitored the breakfast buffet room were very friendly and pleasant, as were most of the shuttle drivers, but any dealings with the rest of the staff showed a complete lack of customer service qualities.
I would recommend the Nantucket Inn as a last option for those who are looking to stay on Nantucket. Though there Sensational Summer Packages appear to be the best of deals, you must realize you are getting a very outdated and old inn, with a mostly unpleasant staff, and very little amenities. Look into other options first, though they may be a few dollars more, in the long run you will be getting a much better experience during your stay on Nantucket.
