Rethink your reservation

The accommodations weren't up to par. I was lead to believe that the amenities that the hotel was offering would be in every room. Most of them were not available. The concierge did a great job in planning our excursions however; the front desk staff does not call when they are supposed to. Whether it is for your room being ready or your car is waiting. The commodes were broken most of the time in the room. For the amount of money we paid, it was not worth it. Please reconsider your reservation.

I LOVED THE LOCATION. It is right in the center of all the action in Boston. GREAT place to stay. Hope you like this review...it should really help... GO REDSOX.

Not great!!

The hotel is in a great location .. has a good reputation - but it is in great need of a makeover - the place is tired! Is reception smacks of some previous charm, but now somewhat faded! The rooms are big, are scantly decorated, small beds, few luxuries (no coffee facilities/mini bar) small bathroom and show a hint of the faded charm that exists in the reception. Lively bars do feature, the location good, but those aside, not a top choice of hotel - alround VERY overpriced accomodation!

Loved it!

From the moment we walked in we enjoyed everything about this hotel. It's a cozy atmosphere, the employees were all very polite, our room was very clean - overall we really enjoyed our stay!

plush, lush

very roomy, very comfortable, wide spaces give an unhurried feel. Crackling fire in winter doesn't hurt either. Fine dining within. Terrific location in the Back Bay with the city at your fingertips. Great walking town.

Right in the middle of things

Right in Copley Square, right in the middle of Boston's gorgeous Back Bay. A cab ride to the Museum of Fine Arts. A walk to shopping and restaurants. Great location, great looking, but expensive and needs a better facility for breakfast.

Outstanding experience

location, service, tradition. Boston is a beautiful place to spend quality time, in particular during spring. The Lenox is strategicaly located close to main walking streets as well as mall.

Get a good deal to enjoy it

The hotel is not worth its average price of $300.00. If you can get in for $200.00 its ok. The location is excellent and the staff is helpful. Parking is very expensive. We asked for a non-smoking room, which was "not guaranteed". Smoking rooms are very stinky!!! Get a non-smoking one. Could be a little cleaner. The air conditioning is very loud too. Just Ok for the price.

Great Location!

It was nice to be close to Newbury Street, and Boston's cool stores, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. The only bad factor was that the hotel was a little pricey. But, it was definitely worth the room's cost. :-)
