Heritage House Hotel, Hyannis

Be aware of this hotel!! They will charge you money even though you NEVER stayed at their NASTY hotel. I was charged close to 200 dollars i was never a guest.... They put me in a room which was occupied by someone already. I ended up walking in on a elderly couple!!!!! I had to beg them to help me find a room in another hotel because they were fully occupied.....i ended up finding a room on my own!!They agreed to pay for the room in a different hotel and also agreed to never charge me for any of the services (4 hours later 3:AM). On top of me walking in on a couple who was sleeping, there were human feces in their lobby bathroom! What kind of dump of a place did i get myself into?!?!? A few days later a manager Sheryl (LIER) calls me and leaves a message - "We took care of all the charges and you are all set". What do you know, the next day i have random charges from the hotel...and they refuse to take it off!!!! The hotel is nasty mess with liers and scammers! Dont waist your time and money!

Liked the location. Sheets were never changed during one week stay. Bottom sheet was never straightened. It was as wrinkled at night as it was when I got up. If I wasn't up by 9:30 towels were hung on the door. Phone was blocked so I couldn't make outside calls. The desk clerk said he unblocked it but only unblocked local service even though I had a credit card on file.  Parking was horrible.

It was a decent place to stay it was close to just about everything. The 2 pools were great. But the rooms were too small for comfort and the front desk staff wasn't very friendly. I am not sure if i would stay here agian

We have been staying at The Heritage House almost every year for the past 8 years. The Cape Escape weekends are so affordable. Their restaurant Chaunceys is fabulous! The entertainment on the weekends is outstanding! Their band FYI is so much fun you don't even have to leave the hotel for the best entertainment in town! They have a great group of employees! They always greet you with a smile and are truly helpful no matter what you need.

We have lived on Nantucket year-round for almost 15 years and always stay at the Heritage House when we are on the Cape. In the last couple of years, my husband has become quite handicapped and we have been very impressed with the immediate help we get in every way, including our bags, and the cheerful and courteous service of the staff. We intend to visit many more times in 2007!
