Laquinta Inn &suites, California

Well, i am a frequent visitor to motel/hotel living, since I’m a contractor on the road... I was very impressed by the overall experience from my stay. I love the King size Serta (Concierge Suite Brand) Beds, new lining, new wood & carpet floors, flat screen 32" high definition JVC TVs mounted on the wall - i bring along my Sony PS3 & plug it into the TV & enjoy HDTV movies & games, high speed internet connection, microwave and refrigerators in the rooms. Marble walls in the bathroom, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, but you cant smoke in the rooms. Service has always been excellent, i have never been treated poorly, the front desk employees have always greeted me with a smile :) Two Local Lounges: 1 adjacent the motel & the other within walking distance. Not bad for approx $75.00 a night...

This hotel was definitely NOT worth the money. The sheets did not fit on the bed, and they immediately came off. There was a hole in the cracked bathroom ceiling, which someone had stuffed toilet paper into. Wallpaper was coming off of the wall in a portion of the room. It was a non-smoking room, nestled in a smoking area, and the hallways REEKED of cigarette smoke. The room itself had an odd smell from being so close to smoking rooms. Worst, there was an ant problem, and at 2 am I realized ants were crawling on me. I would NEVER stay here again.
