worst place ever-- won't stay here ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/2/11
we used their banquet facility and hotel rooms!! rooms were horrible and they should not have a BANQUET facility at all.. they have no idea how to manage an event. they have no sense of customer appreciation not do they know how to plan ahead. This place is the worst worst place ever. I would not recommend anyone going here ever for anything!!!

I wouldn't stay here again
By golfgrll, 6/25/10
The breakfest was ok. The remote control didn't work. No tissue paper in the bathroom. The front desk was rude. The workout equipment didn't work. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/08
The people behind the front desk were really friendly. The rooms were very nice and I like the place very much. The comment below does not accurately and truthfull describe this hotel. I stayed at this hotel in May and I am returning in October for my second business trip.

You get what you pay for here, 3 night stay
By Compu, 2/26/08
I give this hotel a Poor (2 star) rating overall for my 3 night stay, not because of people being loud and me being afraid to confront them, or feeling I should be reimbursed for the fact that the guests were loud that I couldn't sleep, or that the public access restrooms were dirty during/immediately after a reception (what did the guest expect? cleaning service hadn't been through). People cry and can't post proper reviews when one thing happens. Nope, I give a Poor because of all the following points: 1. DO NOT stay in the Odd numbered rooms. Those rooms face I295 and Highway 100. Couple that with the poorly closing and non-sound resistant sliding window you really hear the traffic noise all night. This eliminates 50% of the rooms from the acceptable pool and is the primary reason for the poor rating 2. General dilapidation of the facilities. This is a budget hotel after-all though. 3. Location of the hotel. Very close to BWI, I295, I95 and Hwy 100 but it is located at a dead end nestled very deep in a business park. You will need a rental car/shuttle to get anywhere as opposed to some hotels you could walk a very short distance to certain facilities. There are also no direct routes out to these major roads so you do need to navigate through the Park to get out. 4. My first room did not have a mini-fridge. Only a minor inconvenience. 5. The first room smelled like some sort of body unpleasant function, my second smells heavily of cleaning fluids. Again, this is a budget hotel so.... 6. Parking is not very well laid out and it would appear that there aren't enough spaces for all the guests as finding a spot is difficult at all times of the day. 7. The hotel advertises "data ports" in the rooms but everything is, in-fact, wireless. In general not an issue any more but something to note for those that are security minded (you should be using a VPN) or those w/o wireless networking for some reason. Some good things. Location. Close to BWI, central to several large routes of travel and within a short car ride are many many restaurants, stores, grocery, arundel mills mall. The staff was courteous when I interacted with them. The women on the day staff had heavy accents but the job was done. They didn't treat me like I was on a silver platter but that's not what I expected either. Beds are good. Plenty of towels and sundries supplied. Overall I *might* stay here again if I return to the area. I specifically chose this hotel because I am in a training course in the same business park. Knowing what I now know I would be very careful when checking in though.

We would go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/08
I stay at very high end hotels. However, for over 10 years, I have stayed at the Ramada because their is value at this hotel. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and have paid a lot more for no good reason. When I made the reservation, the front desk told me that the hotel had received a renovation and when I arrived in my room I was pleasantly suprised. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I have learned that there are some hotels out there that don't have fancy names but can offer a product that is really nice. I would tell anybody to stay at this hotel. I have stayed at this hotel over 10 times in the past 3 years and do not hesitate to go back. I loke the restaurant food and they have a $5.00 lunch special which is incredible. And may I add, Everybody is also real helpful there.

Perfectly fine
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/20/07
I'm reading the other reviews wondering if this is the same hotel we stayed in this week. The hotel was immaculately clean, our room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The hotel is in an office park about ten minutes from the airport and the shuttle service was great. The bar was about what you would expect from an office park Ramada, but it was certainly acceptable. All in all, a good place to stay on the way to BWI.

Do not stay here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/17/07
We stayed on a Saturday night. There was a wedding reception occurring in the banquet area, which is well away from the hotel rooms, so I thought it would be ok. WRONG. At 1:30 in the morning, doors were slamming on the 6th floor (where our room was), talking and yelling throughout the halls, and someone yelling for Amy. This went on for over two hours, and I could not sleep with the excessive noise. I finally got up and went downstairs and told the desk clerk. She said she was sorry and that I could call the manager on Monday, since I felt I should not have to pay the cost of the room after only having three hours sleep. I then went into the women's restroom and was horrified by the filthy conditions. Garbage was strewn all over, and someone had been sick in there. I walked back to the elevators and saw that the handle on the side door leading to our car was broken off, so the door was inoperable. Since it was already 4:00 in the morning, we decided to just stay up and leave early. When we checked out, the desk clerk again apologized for the excessive noise and again said I should contact the manager. I called the manager, Brandy, on two separate occasions the next week and the week after. I was told by two different clerks that she was out for two weeks. One clerk told me there was nothing they could do, that they cannot control their guests. I agreed with her on this, but also told her that they COULD control the environment. I then wrote to the corporate office and told them what had transpired. They did not respond, whatsoever, to my comment and concerns. Apparently they do not care about their guests' stays; they only care about the dollars in their pocket. I will never stay at any Ramada Inns again. I paid well over $100 for three hours of sleep and two hours of aggravation; yet, the Ramada corporate office has refused to acknowledge my complaints. Please do not waste your time or money to stay at this hotel--they don't care about your stay.

Filthy Hotel
By Debra, 8/28/06
This hotel was filthy and it was easy to see why. We checked in and saw our room, called the desk and told them how dirty it was and the attitude was 'so what?'. Management doesn't care either. In fact, Ramada Inn corporate office doesn't care. I wrote to them telling them how horrible this hotel was and they decided to refund a portion of my bill. Why a portion? They won't return calls or emails explaining that. Stay clear of this hotel, there are lots of other park and ride hotels near BWI, this one was disgusting.
