DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis, Annapolis

Were were able to check in very quickly and the room was all ready when we arrived. The bar and reataurant were excellent and the bartenders were especially entertaining! Morning and evening room service were excellent and the food was very good. The hotel provides free shuttle service anywhere you want to go and will pick you up when you are ready to go back. The bar/retaurant has an outside patio that is very nice. This hotel managed two different wedding receptions in one night and it did not appear that there were any problems. We stayed at this hotel to watch a Navy game which they will also take you and pick you up from the stadium. I would have like being within walking distance of downtown, but with the great shuttle service, I would stay there again!!

Doubletree is housed in an older building but is doing a great job of keeping the halls and rooms well-mainatined. My room had new-looking furniture and bathroom fixtures in a modern design. The carpet and beds seemed very fresh. The matresses and bedding were soft as a cloud! The room was super sparkling and clean! I am very picky on hotel cleanliness and I couldn't find anything to worry about in this room - great job to the housekeeping staff. People at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. I didn't try the restaurant or the room service. The pool area looked very nice - large. I would stay again.

My boyfriend and I were totally impressed with the Doubletree Hotel Annapolis Romance Package...great accomodations...great value...clean rooms...complimentary shuttle anywhere in Annapolis...complimentary chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne and a full breakfast for two...Staff that went above and beyond!!! I travel alot all over the U.S. and have been in hotels from 2 to 4 stars and felt this was a great choice for my birthday weekend.

This was the worst hotel experience of our lives. The staff is not very competent at all. We were told when we checked in that our breakfast vouchers would be sent to our room. They never came up. We had to go down and get them. Then, all I did was pull our room door closed, and the entire doorknob broke off our door. Had to get maintenence up. Also, our coffee supply was never replenished in our room for the next morning. We were given two new cups, but no coffee. Had to call front desk AGAIN!! The worst part was before leaving for dinner at 4:30pm, my parents room was not made up yet. We reminded the front desk before leaving to make sure housekeeping remembers to clean their room. We were guaranteed they would. Upon returning at 8pm, their room was still not cleaned. We had to call front desk again, and my parents had to wait an hour in our room until housekeeping came back. When housekeeping came up to the room, they asked us "what is it you want us to do??" Why would they need to ask us that?? Shouldn't they know what they need to do?? How about clean the bathroom, empty the gargage can and replenish their coffee for the next morning!! We will never stay here or at any Doubletree again!

I stay at a lot of hotels so I would have rated them very good but the wedding party rated them excellent.The rooms are clean but the dacor is a little dated. The hotel staff were wonderful. When we did have problems they resolved them. The hotel van and driver provided excellent service for the wedding party all weekend. The restaurant and bar is really nice and staff could not have been more helpful. The Manager made us feel special. We looked at all of the hotels in this area and we made the right choice.

Had a group stay here last month and dealing with the staff / managers was a total nightmare. We organized the group rate information but when ever anyone called to use the group rate they were told it was booked and they had to pay nightly rate that was $40/night - even though the group wasn't filled. Happened to more than half of the people in the group even though I must have called 30+ times total to get each issue resolved. I'm willing to forgive a couple of oversites - but they clearly were totally unorganized and incompetent and I probably dealt with at least 3 of the managers and a couple of the staff. Hotel looked good on the outside / inside so that is why I choose it - but I would NEVER stay here again or recommend. Not worth the extra effort when there are tons of other comparable hotels within .5 mile from here.

We got a great deal on priceline and it was worth every penny! The service was great! The employees knew where everything was and had great tips on where to go and where to stay away from. The only thing I didn't love was the parking situation. Almost every night, the lot was mobbed and getting parking anywhere near your room was almost impossible.

We were put on the 1st floor, which happens to be the smoking floor. We requested non-smoking rooms but were told that there were not any available with 2 double beds. First...you must walk up 5+ stairs with your luggage to get to these rooms. If you are disabled forget it. The hall smelled of smoke but not too bad. The room was another story. It stunk! The clock beside the bed was hours off the actual time. The only way to change it to the correct time was to call the front desk. They dispatched someone quickly. The toilet was not bolted down to the floor completely so it rocked when you sat on it. The sink fixtures were loose and spun in their holes. There were 2 burned marks on the bedside table from cigs. As people started checking in and smoking in their rooms the smell became unbearable. We had to go to the front desk to try and get another room in the middle of the night because we couldn't sleep due to the smoke. Long story short...the next day we were moved to the 3rd floor and it was like a totally different hotel. Nice, clean and smoke free. The front desk staff was not nice and very hard to work with during all of the problems. My husband actually had to go get a room at another hotel because they would not give us 2 King rooms (their were 3 of us) Would not stay here. They say they renovated it...I think they just put some cheap bandaids on it.

Overall the hotel was very nice. Some of the common areas could use a little maintenance. Other than that, I liked my stay and plan on staying there again in the future if the rates are competative with other hotels in the area.
