I wouldn't stay here again
By ,
The room was dirty. Carpet was ripped and stained. The sofa was ripped and stained. The walls were thin. The unit didn't keep it warm or cool. The shower was hot. I wouldn't stay here again.

The Worst Hotel I Ever Stayed At
By ,
I regularly stay in the area for business and have been to just about every hotel between DC and Gaithersburg. A big event must have been happening since I could not get a room anywhere. I was happy when I called the Park Inn and they had one room left. My happiness quickly faded when I saw what my room looked like. I felt like I was in a seedy 1970s hotel room. The room was outdated, dirty and in poor condition--carpet ripped and stained, couch ripped and stained, kitchen was dirty and low lighting (I guess to hide all this). Everything was so gross that I didn't even want to sit down. I don't know how they stay in business with all the nice (and I don't mean expensive--I can get rooms for $79 a night that is like the Taj Mahal compared to this place) hotels in the area.

Don't park at the Park Inn
By ,
The walls in this hole were so thin I could hear my neighbor rustle his newspaper next door. My non-smoking room reaked of smoke. The heating unit couldn't keep the room at a good temperature, sounded like a 747 taking off and gave off a little less than one. The shower was hot, but I'm hoping that I don't contract some disease from the bathroom or the sheets. The help was able to give me a room key, but wouldn't issue me a receipt because I reserved online.

Great for business travelers
By ,
I've stayed there before and will do so again. Clean, large confortable room with a nice staff. Ignore the August 5, 2005 "reviews" by the same user, all on the same date. Nice hotel in a safe part of town, with plenty of restaurants near by. If you're looking for someone to come turn your sheets down, go stay with your mother. If you'd like a nice room reasonably priced and close to Metro, I'd recommend this one to you.

Neat and Tidy
By ,
I had to choose a hotel in the Rockville area last minute and didn't have the luxury of time to search for "nice" accommodation. The Park Inn offered a reasonable price ($99 + tax) at short notice.

The only room on offer was a smoking room, and I am a non smoker, but after seeing the room I was not dissappointed with lingering oders.

I'm a resident of MD and know the Rockville area quite well. I would say this part of town is safe to walk around in the evening and leave your car at night. White Flint shopping and cinema is across the street.

Maid service cleaned my room every day.

I would agree with the 1 star rating, it's certainly not a luxury place to stay. If you're a traveller looking for luxury, good dining and a scenic view then you'll be dissappointed. However, if you're looking for somewhere comfortable with the basic ammeneties then this hotel will do.

Excellent Hotel!
By ,
I don't know what the people in the other reviews were talking about, but don't listen to them at all! If you're visiting DC and you want a nice hotel, this is your place! This isn't a high-rise hotel, it's a great, clean, comfortable inn. The staff is very friendly, the "lite, on-the-go breakfast" is very nice, the rooms are clean and big, and everything's great. If you're a leisure traveler, this is the place! The White Flint DC Metro station is within a short walking distance. It's not a long drive to DC. The TV is great! You can send greetings, play Nintendo 64, watch movies, surf the web, and more right from the entertainment system. You can take a shower or a bath in the bathtub, and you get two sinks! There's plenty of parking, and my stay was better than I pictured it would be. Park Inn International is the place. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to DC.

This hotel is very terrible. I recommend avoiding it. It is very unclean, and in a seedy part of town.

Park Inn Rockville

This place is a dump, located in a 'rough' section of town. If you value your luggage, car, wallet, and life you will stay elsewhere.
