TOTAL DUMP
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/11/11
This place was horrible. The room looked like it had not be cleaned in years. There were stains everywhere on the floor, walls and ceiling. Cobwebs covered every corner of the room. They took it upon themselves to charge me for an extra night and I had to call several times to get the charge reversed. Again, this is a horrible place. Stay somewhere else!

delightful stay in LA
By Joseph, 7/24/09
This hotel has such a beautiful lake! They allow pets, so my pup and I had a great time out there. I was staying there for a day for my friend's wedding. The wifi worked great and allowed me to keep up with my email. They have a large free breakfast, and even a free gym to work out. Everything was clean as a whistle. I got to see lots of Plantation homes while in St Francisville too.

Never, EVER again
By Lain, 5/2/09
I'm sitting in my room wondering why I didn't turn around and go back home... The "lake" might as well be a ditch. This place is run down, there's a broken toilet with tape on it sitting on the sidewalk, and even the parking lot is all broken up. I found two pubic hairs on my toilet seat and a hair on my pillow. The ONLY reason I'm still here is because I'd fall asleep driving back home, and complaining to the front desk would do no good (as I heard one of the women whining about another person's complaints to her co-worker). ...I'm not even willing to leave my room for ANY reason until morning I feel so unsafe here. I will NEVER be back nor would I dare recommend anyone stay here.

I will never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/13/08
....... if I HAD to I will have a manager ck rm w/me before I commit to rent for the night! The air conditioner had dust collected for quite some time w/black mold in the coils! Several areas on the floor had a white mold! In the bathroom a towel was left from the previous occupant! This hotel looked as if it had never had an upgrade which is contrary to their statement! I suggest making plans to stay in another city like Baton Rouge or New Orleans OR bring your own cleaning kit! with major cleaners! also bring a drop cloth for the mattress and your own sheets! a vacuum for the floors! or at least some flip flops! Don't let my review lead you to the idea that I have some kind of germ phobia, I don't but after having to stay in this room, I could be!

Air condition problems
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/13/08
Our baseball team stay there for a tournament. Location was close to park. Hotel was old and need upgrading. The air condition was cool by the vents and did not put out cool air in the room. It finally cool off at 3 am. When I did tell the front desk at check out, I got a 15% discount but would have rather a better night sleep
