Dirty ashtrash in the fridge of all places... Marijuana in the nightstand, and a used damp washcloth hanging in the shower.

This was the worst hotel/Days Inn I have every stayed at. It smelled and the bath tub was stopped up. When you take a shower you had to wade in water. Don't waste your money.

Nasty!!

We got a room with a jacuzzi. We filled it with water, turned it on and there was a film that was floating on the top of the water. It was disgusting. I don't think they ever clean it. Our room was suppose to have a refrigerator. We could tell where it was suppose to be but wasn't. It was dirty!! Will never stay here again. They weren't friendly at all. The price wasn't worth it.

very unhappy/ worse service ever

Front desk, not willing to understand book rooms (Gwen) was totally mean and with out concern of what was needed.....instead of trying to help the customer .....was only trying to help her self....so very dis understanding .....have stayed at lots of hotels everywhere and have never encounted a booking problem until now!!!!! will never stay at this hotel or a Days Inn anywhere!

Its ok but...

The place is ok, not much different than any other Days Inn. Price is reasonable for the area. My biggest gripe is the poor location. Its on a one-way access road to I-10 and although easy enough to find you pretty much have to hit I-10 and cross the river and go into Westlake to buy a pack of nabs if you're hungry.

100 % better than I expected!

After reading other reviews I was a bit hesitant in staying here. I did anyways and it was 100% better than I expected. Everything seemed really clean and did not have 1 complaint. I really didn't need any services from the front desk other than checking in and out and that went very smoothly. This is no 5 star hotel but would definitely recommend it. Not to mention it was 3.8 miles from the casino.

Night mare City

This motel is a safety hazard.. The rooms were awful, sheets were dirty, bugs all over the ceiling.Dirt on the floors. The staff came in on us twice using their key without even knocking... Very dissatisfied with the staff as well as the management. I will never again stay in another days inn.

We enjoy everything about this hotel. See my husband doesn't gamble much,and the shuttle bus is very convenient for me. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.Between your hotel and the casino Harrah's we pretty much have everything we need. We love Lake Charles and are planning on moving there when my daughter finish High School and get set in College.So KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP!!!!! Mr.& Mrs Troy Cousain

What happen to customer service and cleanliness?

My husband and I and some friends stayed at your location on February 4, 2006. The room was dirty along with the sheets, the bathroom shower and toliet was dirty along with a horrible odor. The air conditioner kept turning off and finally just had to switch to the fan mode. Was up all night, between a/c and noise. The continental breakfast is a joke. The dining area was dirty. There is no way I would have use the ice machine, the filter was BLACK. I hope we never have to stay in some place as dirty.
