Never Again

Carpet was filthy. Overhead vent as you walk in the door was leaking water. I was there for a family reunion and a relative was charged for a room that was cancelled several days before her arrival. This same relative had to change rooms twice because of different problems with her room. Unfortunately she did not have her cancellation number, I was the person who called and cancelled her room, she even verified it at check out, and was told everything was fine, but when she received her credit card bill there was an additional room charge. They refused to listen to anything. Any good reviews written about this hotel are probably from employees. I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay in a dirty room. I had my dog with me, and I put a sheet on the floor for him to sleep on, because I did not want him on this filthy carpet. Never again.

Don't stay here

The service was horrible from the front desk to the dinning area. They messed up the reservations for around 25 rooms for my cousins wedding. They overbooked the hotel for that weekend. We had to share a room with family. The were rude.

They refused to honor our prepaid reservation

Do not reserve at this hotel if having your guaranteed room available when you arrive is important to you! Other reviewers have also noted this hotel has overbooked and ruined their stay as well. We booked a one night stay online (prepaid) a week in advance. When we arrived at 4:30 -- close to check-in and definitely not late -- we were informed that they acknowledged that we had a reservation but they had overbooked and other hotels all over the area also were full. The manager refused to give us our room even though we were not late and we had a prepaid reservation. They said they would send us another comparable hotel that would honor our prepaid reservation. Instead they sent us to a cheaper motel that had fewer stars and lower guest ratings, and our room was dirty, smelly and in serious need of repair. Holiday Inn would never want to be considered comparable to that! We had no other options because we had an event that evening and had no time to search around town after being told that most other places in town were booked. This is the first time I’ve ever written online about a hotel so don’t think I am a chronic complainer. This was unacceptable!

Will Never Go Back

Memorial day weekend our daughter's softball team stayed at this hotel for a tournament. While we were gone Saturday they packed our stuff up and moved us out! They had overbooked rooms and said we didn't have reservations for that night (which we did). It took us 4 hours to find another room! Our entire team tried to help us find another room. Our daughter was crying - it was terrible! Memorial day weekend plus other events going on. The manager on duty wouldn't speak to us. The guy at the front desk asked us to lower our voices. I can't imagine anyone being treated like we were treated! We will never go back and were very dissappointed at the treatment we received. We sat in the lobby for hours talking to Holiday Inn customer service and trying to find a room elsewhere. Our team mates were on their phones and online trying to find something for us. Housekeeping did a fabulous job packing us up. They told us they knew we were treated wrongly. Kudos to housekeeping!

The front desks was great I love the way they help you out with what ever you need. I think she told me her name was Dee but the smile and friendly customer service was what made a bad day at the airport seem like it was nothing at all. I want to come back and I will.

The location is a bit out of way for shopping, but it is easy to get to and not crowded area. Service from front desk to the room service was excellent. Their bar and indoor pool area was great could talk to friends while relaxing. Restaurant was in great location, great service and the staff in all were knowledgeable if area, and very friendly. Has free breakfast for guest, 1 free drink per person per day. The broadband was great fast and secure. We will be going back there again.

Don't be fooled by the name....

I stay at a Holiday Inn once a week in my travel but this one is less to be desired. It needs to be renovated. It is an old Holidome. This would be a nice hotel if they spend the money to bring it up to date.
