Atrium-Wedding wkend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/20/12
Rooms were fine, staff accomidating. But nothing can make up for the lack of hot water. Daughters wedding wawn't t the Atrium, but we had a block of 13 rooms there. After decorating, busy days, wedding, undecorating, you would like a hot bath at the end of the day. staff upgraded our room, but still no hot water (luke warm). What was worse was the other friends and family that booked rooms there. It was embarassing and unacceptable. We were there 3 days. The problem was not fixed. Have a feeling it is continuous.

Very Disappointing
By TerryB, 1/28/08
Opted for Atrium instead of Travel Lodge because wanted a better quality room but was disappointed in choice. Bedding was less than best. Cable went out but there was no serviceman to even check it out much less fix it. Was not offered a discount when room was not up to standard.

Love the Music (Brandy House)
By Bob, 12/16/07
We love the music in the Brandy House. The piano is great! The guy really knows how to entertain you. Can't wait to go back again.

Great People
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/10/07
The hotel is under construction but the service and attention all but made up for it. Southern hospitality is all that comes to my mind when thinking of our stay there. There is a lot of renovation being done which did make it a bit bothersome but the people there and their care smoothed over any inconviences.

Desk staff were great! Remodled room was just your average room. It did have iron and board and also coffee maker. Checked into a smoking room but no ashtrays??? Remodleing is still in the works. Resturant was upscale decor and menu but the food was good. Not good for late sleepers because of construction in progress.

Pleasantly Surprised!
By Tammi, 4/18/07
My husband and I were in town on business and stayed 4 nights 4/11-4/15/07. The room was a suite that had been remodeled and was divine...granite,fancy shower,3 plasma tvs, fine linens and towels! The only thing lacking was a turn down service and chocolates. This place will be the place to be when the entire renovation is complete.

Not so much
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/26/07
It's been in renovation for 2+ years. The rooms are gloomy. I would not go there if I had the choice. Overall, quite mediocre.

Nightmare on the first night!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/8/06
I was booked into a room on the first night that I would not house my cat in. It was smelly and dirty. Housekeeping came to "vacuum" the floor but it was still disgustingly filthy. I woke up at 2 AM to a stench that seemed to come from a sewer. I made purchases of cleansers, room deodorizers and "washed down" the doors, counter tops, dresser and sprayed the floor with Lysol disinfectant. I complained to the Manager on duty the next morning and she moved me to a clean and better room. My question is: Why wasn't I booked into a decent room on the first night in order to avoid my discomfort and humiliation? I want to commend the Director of Sales, Ms. Faith Willis who was most accomodating, professional, courteous and kind. She epitomizes what every hotel owner would want in their representative.
