Holiday Inn Airport East, Louisville

During my visit i was with my school and we were there for the jr. kya assembly. During our time many renovations were taking place. Overall great place can't wait to go back this year!!!!!

The staff was very friendly and we stayed here for 2 weeks and had 4 rooms and all of us loved it. The bartenders were fun in the bar, very quite hotel--staff responded to every request. We have recommended this hotel to many friends and customers of our business. We stay in about 30 hotels a year and this was one of the best!

Whe I went to the first room they gave me I could hear a TV blaring from what sounded like my room. I cautiously opened the door to find a maintenance man kicked back in my room watching TV. He claimed to be fixing the toilet. (from the chair in front of the TV) I was given another room and the light inside the door did not work. Traffic noise all night.

No continental breakfast. The only person that greeted us kindly was the cook at the breakfast bar which costs $8.

This hotel is beautiful. The lobby has a great Southern feel. I had a few out of town guest stay during a recent visit. They loved it. The staff is great! Very helpful.

A friend recently stayed here during the Ky Derby. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the male manager was so rude to the staff that it made me feel uncomfortable. I feel sorry for the people that work there. My friend said she will never stay there again.
