Inn by the Lake, Gilbertsville

Not bad for an overnight before a day fishing. Rooms are dated but it beats a wet sleeping bag. Beware the Friday buffet is way over priced.

Room I rented online was opened and part of the sheet rock from the ceiling was in the kitchn floor. Ceiling was wet and had damage. Was moved to another room. Security chains for door lock missing, room dirty, cleaning man came into my room at 8:30 am w/o knocking. Indoor pool filled with equipment etc. I do not believe the room they show on their internet site is really any where in their buildings. Outside porch light to room was out. Key cards never worked for me. Wall papaer torn, furniture old and dated. Bed lumpy. Phone had some type of fluid in all keys (looked like blood).. Phyllis from the front desk was an exceptionally wonderful person.. I travel alot, and I will NEVER stay here again!

The room that I stayed in was comfortable. There was no refrigerator in the room like I was told there would be and no hair dryer either. The shower curtain was filthy and the room could have been cleaner. I will not go back.
