Days Inn Leavenworth, Leavenworth

Hotel is very old and nasty. The owner was very rude. Continental breakfast was a joke! ROACH in the orange juice. Room was never cleaned for the 2 days we were there. Did I mention the owner was very rude?

This days inn had a more than friendly staff and very clean rooms. I recommend anyone coming to the Leavenworth, KS area to stay there.

For starters, when we checked in at 9:30 p.m. on a Friday evening, we had to go through a drive through like a bank. We stayed two nights, our room was never cleaned. We had to go ask for clean towels and put our trash outside as we had a toddler in the room. The trash was still sitting by the door when we checked out. The desk cerk was on a personal phone call lying on the couch in the lobby when I approached her about our room not being cleaned after the first night we stayed there. She never put the phone down to give me her full attention. The phone in our room did not owrk all the time. I e-mailed Days Inn after we got home, they forwarded my complaints to this motel as each one is individually owned. The owner called me, telling me he would refund $25 of the $140 we paid for the two nights. After three weeks, I still do not have the refund.

The staff was friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. Close to everything. The rooms were cleaned timely and they smell really good. Found this motel after staying in the basement of the Motel 6 which was a horrible experience. If looking for something economical and clean, this is the place.

The location is great. Everything within walking distance. The rooms are nice and smell good. The employees are super friendly. They make you feel like family.
