Days Inn Ames, Ames

Our Room was not clean at all I found a condum rapper on the floor under our bed (we don't use) have 3 girls and dont use condums anymore! Our floor was dirter I went and ask them nicely to vac our room and he said ok and I also told him about the condom raper on the floor. We came in on wed am around 4am I told him this at wed 10am on sat when we we're leaving it was still there! I took it down for him to see and had some choice words for this place! One our other rooms was just as bad the coffee maker was dirty the smoke detire was unplugged! All they did when we left for the day is make our beds and give clean towels! They left our pop cans in the room (that we drunk from). When we got back from the race trake there was no place to park either so we end up parking in anouther place and walking! Plus on friday the 10th my hubby and I were sleeping the manger walked right into our room with a tv I asked what the hell was going on and he said wrong room and walked out never said am sorry for geting you guys up or nothing! WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE EVERY AGAIN! IF I HAD A NUMBER FOR THE BIG GUYS FOR DAYS INN I WOULD BE CALLING THEM BUT I DON'T! ITS A BAD HOTEL WITH A BAD MANGER AND WORKERS!!!!!

Hotel changed hands and became a Days Inn. I had stayed several times a the old hotel, and found it a good value and clean. My April 2009 stay was much different. Supposed to be a no-smoking room, but the room smelled like cigarettes. The sheets had cigarette burns in them. Shower was not clean. If you don't mind uncleanliness, it's ok. Sure wish the previous owners hadn't sold it.

i thought this hotel was the worst hotel i,ve stayed in there was blood in the shower very dirty unkept hotel staff very rude about finding blood in the shower accused me of not knowing what blood looked like. I would recommend that you find a different hotel when your family is in the hospital...

I disliked the fact that my online room reservation told me I would have a a fridge in my room, which i didn't. The continental breakfast consisted of stale cereal, and bread, the juice machine was out of service, and there was no coffee. The pulblic bathroom stunk really bad too. I probably would not stay here again unless this was the only hotel open for miles.

staff friendliness at reception, good layout of room, breakfast facilities, beds very comfortable, check out 12 noon - good chance of that extra bit of sleepin if tired from travel
